As Simon R has said the entire lead is 400 millimetres long or about 16 inches. At one end is a female SATA the male SATA outlets are then equally spaced at 100, 200, and 300 millimetres, and the one at the end is of course 400 millimetres. Divide each measurement by 10 if you want it in centimetres!

This is the power cable splitter, you need an existing SATA power cable from your PSU to plug this into. You loose one and gain 4 power connector so only 3 additional slots.

Distance between connectors not quite long enough. Can I piggy-back another cable?

Yep, could chain a few together as you wish, just add up your amps to make sure your psu can handle the draw that devices need,the cable getting to the devices make little or no difference
