Would this work on a 2009 macbook pro ddr3

Yes. DDR3 is your type of RAM and has no effect on the compatibility of the hard drive. I've got Crucial ssd's in a 2007 MBpro & 2011 Mac mini.

Hi, Is anybody using this with an X-box one please?

Xbox one is USB 3.0 and its super fast loading, as long as you have usb 3.0 caddy

Is this a laptop drive or 1 for a desktop computer ?

Does it fit game max silent sound proofed gaming case

Fitted mac book pro no issues.. may need a drive cady or cage as drive is about 2.5 inch wide, check connection type and size mount of existing drive before ordering, thats what I did
