Intel BX80684I38100 8th Gen Core i3-8100 Processor

Fast and stable. That's not a political comment! Was considering a Ryzen 1300+, but opted for this instead in the end as it was priced a little cheaper and all the benchmarks I've seen (even with the AMD overclocked) saw it run on a par or faster than the AMD. I had to get a z370 board, but there was an offer on Gigabyte z370-D3 for only about £15 more than the ASRock I was looking at and so far the gigabyte board paring has worked well. I figured I'm getting a better featured board anyway with the ability to expand in the future (over clocking a future processor/memory if I should require). I know that AMD though are going to support their AM platform until 2020, so maybe when I upgrade I'll need a new board anyway if I don't opt for a second hand chip when this intel socket/platform has been superseded. I hadn't built a computer for about 14 years, so just wanted it to work with the least hassle. Seems rock solid so far.

I got this CPU at a really good price, and while I haven't done a lot of gaming or processor intensive work it does much better than an old i5 that I had in my previous PC. Gaming wise it will run Fortnite and similar games (I'm using motherboard onboard graphics) and it doesn't struggle too much. Easy to install, comes with the fan and it was just so easy to install. Definitely recommend if you don't want to spend a fortune on and i5 or i7 8th generation and not a heavy gamer

Tbh, It fills the bill. I am using it with gtx 1050 ti and 8gb 2400 mhz ddr4 ram. My budged and expectations were not high when building the system. I gave 4 because sometimes I experience fps drop.

This i3 is a great little cpu, runs very well and temps are low. I used the stock cooler. This is ideal for all types of every day pc use. Runs most general games average fps, paired with a decent gpu it'd perform well. Decent budget build cpu but remember this isn't like a i7 8700k or 9900k so don't expect 200fps but a good all rounder.

Intel BX80684I38350K 8th Gen Core i3-8350K Processor A great processor as an upgrade or even to start a workbench or gaming pc. Great quad-core with overclocking, I got mine to 5.0GHz easily with barely any added voltage. Box came in perfect condition and works perfectly.

The fan is very noisy I have to buy another one

This product is amazing and the two extra cores really do help in gaming (as opposed to the normal 2 cores and 4 threads). Mine was over clocked to 4.7 GHz and works like a charm. Delivery was swift and no damage to the packaging at all! Would recommend for gamers!

For just 20£ in plus you can buy AMD Ryzen 5 and is far better then i3. I know it depends by the budget but the performance is really different.

Preso questo processore , in abbianata alla scheda madre gygbite z370p d3 e alle memorie 2x8 gb da 2400 ballistix sport per allestire un pc sopratutto da gaming . Essendo un serie k non ha il dissipatore . Ho preso un freezer artic 13 . Come scheda video ho una sapphire radeon rx 480 nitro + da 8gb . In full hd , Assetto corsa competizione , gira bene , anche se e' un gioco in fase di sviluppo . Al momento non ho fatto overclock . Prezzo cpu+memoira+scheda madre , in linea con un ryzen r5 2600 . Pero' essendo un I3 si poteva un po' abbassare il prezzo , ma ultimamente intel ha prezzi alti . Comunque un buon processore . Per giocare non fa rimpiangere il multicore.

Simplemente genial. Nunca había montado un ordenador por partes, pues precisamente tenía miedo de que se estropeara esta pieza tan delicada. Tras montarlo ya no tengo miedo a hacerlo nuevamente, pues ha ido todo correctamente. El contenido del paquete es: - El Microprocesador. - Disipador+Ventilador (montado todo junto) - Instrucciones, garantías...papeleos varios. La pasta ya viene echada en el cuadrado del disipador, por lo que lo único que tienes que hacer es insertar el micro en el zócalo de la placa base y ponerle encima el disipador/ventilador. Apretas las pestañas, cierras los seguros y listo. El disipador es pequeño y el ventilador no es de lo mejores. Pero este microprocesador tiene una gestión de la temperatura impresionante y nunca lo he visto por encima de los 50º con un rendimiento medio-alto. Con el ventilador que trae es suficiente. Imagino que con procesos gráficos intensos podría lelgar a los 60 o poco mas. En este caso si recomiendo otro procesador o disipador. En mi caso compré por separado un ventilador Triton doble, y lo tengo ahí muerto de risa porque veo que no era necesario tanto. También es verdad que mi caja tiene muy buena ventilación, claro. El rendimiento es excepcional! Rinde mejor que un i5 7400 y se queda ahi ahi con un 7500, ademas de ser mas barato. Para que os hagáis la idea, juego al Maximo con una gtx 750 TI / 8Ram / 1tb a todos los juegos ( Ark, Mad Max, Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Rider o Far Cry 4) Evidentemente no esperéis jugar a esto en 4k con esa tarjeta gráfica.
