La Mentira [DVD]

Thanks

One of the best Mexican shows (telenovela), the actors are exceptional, the theme romantic. Carlos Sotomayor did a fantastic job directing this show. In my opinion, like I said above, the best up to this day.

This is a 6 months long telenovela shortened into about 10 hours. Anyone who thinks the ENTIRE novela is going to be on the DVD isn't being realistic. Would I buy a 10 DVD set of the whole thing - HECK YES! But, in the meantime, this hits ALL the high notes and skips alot of the (in some cases boring) details. I saw the novela when it came out and am watching it again now during its rebroadcast. Did not bother me at all that the music was not the same - I can download the song anytime. Again, loved it, fantastic price, so happy to have it!

I was so HAPPY to finally see that LA MENTIRA was finally released on DVD. Kate del Castillo and Guy Eckler have to be two of the best Spanish actors out there. I love the edited form of novelas on DVD because they take out all the repetitive and added story lines and just get to the essential parts of the novelas. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS NOVELA!!! YOU WILL ENJOY IT!!! FINALLY they show a womans character that is strong, stubborn, and seeks what she wants. Kate del Castillo brings forth a VERONICA that is trully admirable!!

Actually the story is great and i have ever watched this movie at local tv in mya country. but when i watched this movie from dvd that i have bought at amozon, many scenes were missing and it made me difficult to follow the story as a whole. i gave my comment it's ok for the story, but not for the complete episodes. for not having completed made me disappointed.

I bought this novella because growing up it was one of my faves, the only thing that disappoints me is that the entire story is not in the DVD. they edit parts off I guess to get to the point. which if they do this they should put it in the description of the dvd. but besides that I still loved it

I saw this novela on TV and I loved it. When I got to order the DVD I was thrilled. I think this is one of those that you will never forget. The only thing that I was not happy about was that they did not have the ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK. What a waist, I think that is one of the things that goes along with it. You remeber not only the story but the songs that went with it.

if you love telenovelas you must buy this one.it has everything suspense, love, hate, not to mention the chemistry between the actors.the only bad thing is the music, but after some time you get use to it.they cut a lot of scenes.but this soap opera has 100 episodes,so they cant fit it into 2 dvds.all the good parts are in.

This is a really nice telenovela, very emotional....it made my week. The acting is ok but not great! The story kicked off from the start, but was a bit dull in the middle. Predictable ending but it is worth watching!

Le han cortado muchas escenas , supongo yo que es por la adaptación del formato en cd. Pero en general me satisfizo el producto .

I really enjoyed this telenovela. Kate Del Castillo and Guy Ecker are terrific in it. I learned a bit about making tequilla. I would differently recommend this telenovela.
