Great jacket
I got this for my hubby and he was extremely pleased with it. It fits a little bit loose on him, but he prefers it that way so he can layer up. Great quality overall, and warm. He's 6'4 and around 340.

Good luck wearing this in the cold by itself
The canvas-like material doesnt do much to keep your warm. 3M thinsulate is kind of a gimmick at this point. May work as a layering piece but was hoping the Carhartt reputation for quality would tie over to their more expensive pieces and found myself disappointed.

Such a great jacket! Ive worn this style in different sizes over the years as my weight has fluctuated and it’s always been my go to winter coat. I like how it’s not as heavy and bulky as some of the older Carhartt jacket styles and just as warm, if not warmer. For sizing I’m 265lbs and 6’2.5” and xl tall fits me perfectly in this.

Order a size down from what you normally wear
Great jacket! I normally wear a medium but ordered a small and it fits me perfectly. Carhartt clothes in general run a size big. The J130 jacket has been around a long time and is very comfortable, warm and durable. I love the upgrades featured in this new version (J130-M).
