Good for young curious minds.
I bought this for my 5.5year old daughter after she showed an interest in magnets from school. She loved this. Due to her age she was a bit frustrated at the time it took to set up and read instructions. There are several experiments inside. It is a bit of a one hit wonder but I hope she’ll return to it. Sadly one of the magnets smashed on our tiled floor - so beware of that. Would make a great birthday present for a curious 6 year old.

Child loves this set. Lots of different bits in there to keep him occupied and it's a toy he's often went back to to play with for several hours. Simple and easy with no mess.

Great for kids learning magnets
OMG my grandson loves magnets and sticks them all over the place. So this he will have so much fun with. He gets fascinated to how things work. Thik its going to be a great buy fir this Christmas

Broken part but ok kit.
This magnetic kit has been a lot of fun for my kids. My 7 and 6 year old have enjoyed the experiments so far. I removed 2 stars because the plastic container that is supposed to hold the iron fillings has a crack and hole in it. When we opened our box we noticed iron fillings all over. You can also see in the background of the photo that some spilled onto our table and made quite a mess. I’m not sure I would recommend this item because of the hole in the capsule.

Poor
I have ordered this item for a birthday present. It arrived without protective packaging and labels all over the actual box. I cannot remove the labels without damaging the box. Money wasted.

Learning is Fun
My 4 year old grandson and I had such a good time playing and learning all about magnets. We explored our house using the magnets included. He especially liked seeing how fast he could make the car go using the magnets in different positions. I would highly recommend the kit.
