Does this lighten blonde highlights

The Tigi Fashionista is the one designed to lighten, brighten & tone down the yellow/brassy tones for blonde highlights. This will lighten slightly because its a deep reconstructive conditioner so will add the lustre & shine back to your highlights. MH Hair & Beauty Ltd

Is this the original reconstructor formula (as shown in the picture in a yellow bottle) rather than the newer formula (sold in a red bottle)?

The original was in a tube but this is just as good. I like it.

I’ve bought this, not from this seller but a duel pack of shampoo and conditioner it was like washing my hair twice with shampoo? Is this correct?

No it shouldn’t be. The shampoo is a pinky colour and the conditioner is yellow and quite thick. You do need quite a bit of the conditioner if you have long hair. I hope this helps.

Do you rinse it or is it leave in?

This is a rinse out conditioner. I like to leave it in for 5 mins before rinsing though. Along with the shampoo, it's done wonders for my hair.
