Notebook Holepunch grey

Agree with other reviewers that this is well made and effective. It would be great for sure if it punched more than 2 pages at a time but, given a pack of Filofax refill dotted paper only contains 32 sheets, it doesn't actually take long to produce a pack's worth. Also filofax only does white dotted paper and I wanted cream so I prefer my own paper. A pack of 100gsm cream paper from Prestige is about about 2p per A5 page (I buy A4 and use a guillotine after printing on dots and templates). I also like creating my own templates so this is a no brainer as well as saving money. Agree that a guide would be useful, but I've found a little clip like in the picture does the job perfectly.

I recently bought a Filofax refillable spiral-bound notebook and as I found the paper was fountain pen friendly, I decided to look for refills. That is when I came across this holepunch and it occurred to me that I could use it to punch any paper so I could use papers that really showed the qualities of the inks in different ways and then keep them all together in one binder. (Which I will keep at home on my desk and not carry around, this system does not seem as robust as a ring binder in my opinion.) I could see that the reviews for this product were mixed, many were from people who had bought the wrong product, this is not for any of the ring binder systems, but the ones that complained about poor quality or failing to cut cleanly seemed to be for the black version of the punch. The listing I was looking at specified it was the newer grey version and it was on Amazon for a really low price so I thought I would buy one and if it didn't work then I could always send it back. It works perfectly and I am really pleased that I bought it. I am now wondering if I can find loose spirals which it will match so I can make my own journals up with my choice of papers. Another thing to be aware of is that the box clearly states that you can only punch 'up to 2 sheets of 100 gsm paper.'

Please note that it only punches 2 pages at a time which it does very well and is handy for adding your own papers to your notebook. However it is a bit pricey and the base that catches the punched paper is rather flimsy so you need to be a bit careful when detaching the base to empty it and reattaching it again (unfortunately mine was delivered with a some of the corner missing). I was expecting a sturdier base for a product that expensive.

Well it does it’s job. It’s a sturdy bit of kit. Just a little disappointing that it doesn’t cope with more than a few pages at a time although I was aware of this when I purchased. It may be a little hard for some to push down on, but for the majority should be fine. I love the binders I purchased to go with it and the punch is essential for their use so wouldn’t be without it.

This is an utterly useless and overpriced piece of equipment. You can’t even punch 2 pieces of paper with this as it says in the description. I have a home office, and as time is money, it takes ages to hole punch papers for the Filofax notebook 1 at a time. You also have to use lots of force for this one piece of paper, and each time I do it I think of anyone who suffers from weakness in their upper arms due to age or injury/disability, because it’d be impossible to use this. It shouldn’t be THIS hard to hole punch 1 piece of paper, and it shouldn’t be THIS expensive for a piece of trash engineering. If you can find another brand that hole punches the notebook holes, buy that instead. Avoid this one altogether

A parer mio è decisamente comoda e fa risparmiare soldi, perchè al posto di comprare i refill si creano con qualsiasi carta si preferisce (io ho un notebook a5 e ho comprato delle risme a4 che taglio a metà per fare le pagine). I buchi che fa sono perfetti, ha anche uno scompartimento che raccoglie tutti i ritagli dei fori fatti. L'unico difetto, se va trovato, è che può bucare al massimo 2 fogli alla volta (con carta da 100gr); in realtà mi è capitato di bucare anche 3 fogli alla volta e i fori erano ugualmente perfetti, ho solo fatto più fatica io a farli. Ma in realtà il tempo speso a forare 2 fogli è poco perciò si può anche spendere qualche minuto per forare un blocchettino di fogli. Ho trovato molto utile che sia segnato dove porre il foglio per fare i buchi (ogni formato ha la sua posizione)

I managed to punch about 10 thin single pages (thin 75gsm 20lb 25% cotton bond), but only by leaving each page in place and slowly - with extreme cautious pressure downward on each end and the middle of the punch -- repunching every page until all of the shafts manage to cut their bit out. I'm disabled, low income, and had both a friend and a cousin die in the last month. I didn't get to troubleshooting to find out what's wrong with it until 5 days past the return window. And this was the *second* punch - replacing a previous one that didn't punch but mangled/tore every page terribly. This is the dealbreaker for me. Filofax changed their "fountain pen friendly" paper to paper that is no longer smooth or even friendly to gel pens -- forget any plans to use fountain pens. I have a ton of high quality 25% cotton 20/24lb bond paper that would work great... if the piece of crap that filofax calls a "functional" punch (ha! it works... NOT) ... and then they charge literally more than FIVE TIMES what a swingline or bostitch brand hole punch (and the other punches can even punch 3-6 pages at a time!) I've been using filofax moveable notebooks for 20ish years. I'm trashing them as soon as I run out of refills and switching to discbound or 3:1 double loop or click bindings (size I own a rayson 3:1 square hole punch that work great with 3:1 coils, 3:1 double wire loop bindings, and rayson's 3:1 plastic click bindings.

Locher ist größer und schwerer als gedacht, aber gut verarbeitet und funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich konnte tatsächlich nur je 2 Seiten gleichzeitig lochen, aber das stört mich nicht. Super! Bin zufrieden.
