L'Oreal Serie Expert Shampoo 1500 ml, Silver

Fantastic product. I have used it 4 times now and feel that i can give an honest and realistic review of the shamphoo. I have natural blonde hair and have never dyed it before. I now have silver hair around the hairline at the front and sides. I still have quite a lot of blonde, but it was going a rather nasty brassy colour. After looking at the reviews i decided to go for this product. I was a bit shocked at first, when i realised it was purple in colour and was apprehensive at the thought of using it as i didn't want my hair to turn blue or purple.The first time i used it, i left it in for only 1 minute, but in that time, i did think some of the brassy blonde had toned down slightly. The second ti e i used it i left it in for 2 minutes. Again i noticed a reduction in the brassy blonde colour. The third time i used it i left it in for 5 minutes and wow. The silver in my hair really stood out, and was very vibrant. The brassy blonde had toned down even more. The fourth time i used it i left it in for 10 minutes. The silver stands out even more and the brassy blonde colour is all gone. I now have much lighter blonde coloured hair that blends in totally with the silver in my hair giving it a much more natural look. This product is amazing and i will continue to use it.As others have said, i would recommend using a good quality conditioner to ensure that your hair does not become dry. My hair feels wonderful and i just love the colour that my hair now has. I bought the 250ml bottle to start with, but i will buy the bigger and much more ecconomical sized one next time, and there will be a next time. This shamphoo has made a huge differance to my hair. And it hasn't made my hair turn blue or purple either. Enjoy.

This product is most definitely one of my favourites, so I've used this on and off for many years (when I've been blonde) this was also the silver shampoo used in my college when training to be a hairdresser also in the salon I've worked in, so I already loved it before purchasing.Its a great silver shampoo which works well to help tone down brassy tones in hair and help keep it fresh, simply used like a normal shampoo, but I use it every other time I wash my hair and don't leave it in for too long as with all silver (purple) shampoos it can leave a blue tinge if you go a little wild haaThe product is super deep purple when u tip it out (or pump if you have one) so don't let that scare you as it is just to tone and that dark colour washes out, this shampoo smels amazing, it has a very masculine smell, like lynx so leaves your hair smelling beautiful.This 1500ml bottle will last you absolutely ages, it's big, considering the small 250ml bottle is around £8 this size for £15 is amazing and definitely worth it, I'd suggest bying a pump also as the bottle is massive, heavy and very difficult to use with wet slippery hands.So all in all this product is amazing value for money, works and smells amazing

Love this product! You get great value for money and the product delivers amazing results! I have attached pictures of my hair for reference, with the shorter hair being my most recent! I have very dark roots (natural) and currently sport a 'balayage' style - that combination means I'm very prone to hair turning a shade of yellow and this shampoo definitely avoids this.For ladies who are worried about their hair turning silver/purple do not as I have not had this issue, it's all about leaving it in for the right amount of time - I work it into my routine once a week and lather it up and rinse immediately as I would normal shampoo ( I use the 'vitamino colour' version of this) - if I feel my hair is yellowing I will work it into the hair for longer. I go to the hairdressers twice a year as this keeps my colour looking very fresh ( it was actually recommended to me by my hairdresser!).Only thing I will say is it can stain the hands/nails when working into the hair but of course you can wear gloves/ it washes out by the next day anyway. I also recommend investing in a pump as it can get very messy but honestly I personally do without.

Now my hair is grey it needs a shampoo to help brighten it so I bought this one which was recommended by my hairdresser. It is a little purple as it comes out of the bottle but does not make my hair purple. It apparently tones down any yellow colour in grey hair. Price was reasonable, bottle medium size made by a known company. Arrived the next day. Since growing my hair I have discovered I have curly hair which delights me; such a nice change after many years of the same style. Even though I am old I can have flick ups without any bother, and also have some pretty curls to poke out of my hats.

I love this! I have partly grey hair, which I must add I am proud of! and as you get older you do have to take care of your hair, as it becomes more dry and seems to break a lot more easily, I wanted to brighten my hair so I thought I would give this a try. Oh Boy! so glad I that I did!!! when the sun catches the grey hair, it shines and looks so bright! I think if I had a full head of grey hair, I would have a go at leaving it on for a lot longer, to get that lovely blueish grey hair that seems to fast becoming the fashion these days!!! when using this product, you only need such a small amount. I leave mine on for a few minutes, only because the type of hair I have, it takes longer for products to work on it. If you are using this product for the first time, I would experiment with it, like I did. The first time you use it, dont leave it on to long, say a minute for the first use, because if you are not careful, you mind turn your hair purplish blue!!! lol, It is a strong product so you really only need a small amount. Finish with a conditioner too for a great result!

i know this shampoo is designed for the older lady (or gent) who has slivery white hair and wants to make it look its best, but this shampoo can be the best friend of any one who likes to bleach or highlight their hair! if, like me, you know a few basics in hair colouring, then you'll know that it can be hard to get those nice golden to white tones in your hair when bleaching or highlighting it especially when going from really dark hair, and the end result can look brassy and yellow (AKA cheap and nasty!).Well anyone who has ever looked at a colour wheel (google it) will know that the opposite of yellow is purple! in steps this purple shampoo. its great for banishing those unwanted yellow and brassy tones and leaves you with the bright looking blond you were hoping for!i originally bought this on recommendation from my hair dresser when i wanted to dye my hair grey/silver, as is the fashion now. i found it very hard to keep the colour once it was what i wanted and thought i had to bleach my hair over and over just to get the colour i wanted. but when i got this id have my hair bleached every so often and a every few days i would leave this shampoo on for a bit and wash it off and it would always magically banish the yellow away without more bleaching and with out any left over purple tint.hope this is helpful and highly recommended product.

My hair is naturally dark brown, almost black. My friend bleached it for me but i was left with some yellowy patches. She told me about this shampoo that she uses for her blonde hair, but said it was pricey (£15 for a tiny bottle)and can only be bought at hair salons. So I was chuffed when I found such a big bottle for the same price.After bleaching my hair one last time I covered my hair in this, (a little goes a long way) making sure I left it more concentrated on the roots. It smells lovely and is a dark blue/purple and has a glittery/ galaxy look to it.I put a shower cap on and left it on over night and in the morning I was left with lovely soft, lilac hair. Dw its not permanent and fades to a grey after a wash with your regular shampoo.I would recommend this shampoo to anyone who wants lilac/ grey hair the easy way and for anyone who wants light blonde hair

REALLY rough on hair, very drying - more so than other ones that I have tried! Also doesn't come with pump despite the fact that it is a heavy bottle so it is extremely difficult to lift and pour out product due to heaviness. Feel it turns my ash blonde hair a little too grey and does absolutely nothing for the yellow/brassy strands except for make them appear more brassy! Also would like to add that it makes my blonde hair appear quite dull and matte. This purple shampoo also really really really stains my hands and fingernails (more than any other purple shampoo I have tried!) and that is not very pleasant. For best results from this product, I would suggest not leaving the product in the hair, but rather rinsing STRAIGHT after applying to avoid hair turning grey - I have noticed this is the best way to get platinum/ash looking hair rather than grey. Finally, I noticed sometimes after using the product there would be some RED-ish strands in my hair that weren't there before - not sure if shampoo created these red-like strands or perhaps it is due to the fact that turns the rest of the hair silvery/grey hence making the brassy strands appear red in contrast.

J'ai pas mal de cheveux blancs et j'avais des restes de teintures blondes. J'ai décidé d'arrêter mais entre le côté terne des premiers et l'aspect foin c'est pas terrible. J'ai trouvé ce shampooing magique. Mes cheveux blonds retrouvent leur ton naturel et ne sont plus jaunes et les blancs sont plus brillants. Du coup ça donne un aspect plus balayage que bicolore. Je l'ai fait testé à ma mère qui elle a les cheveux tout blancs mais par endroit franchement jaunes, en trois shampooing, effet déjaunissant impressionnant. Par contre elle trouve que cela lui dessèche terriblement les cheveux donc prévoir un soin après. En ce qui me concerne aucun problème de sècheresse. Après l'avoir utilisé cinq fois de suite, j'alterne maintenant avec mon shampooing habituel (une fois sur trois ou quatre).

No es necesario usarlo siempre, se puede alternar con otros champús, es más, no creo que sea conveniente usarlo demasiado a menudo o dejarlo puesto un tiempo exagerado si no se quiere parecer a una abuela con un "plis" morado recién puesto.El pelo queda suave, no es necesario usar acondicionador, y tampoco deja el pelo con sensación grasa.Buen champú matizador.

Ich habe dieses Shampoo schon mehrmals bestellt. Der Preis ist einfach unschlagbar! Woanders bezahlt man den selben Preis für nur 500ml. Mit diesem 1500ml Shampoo kommt man wirklich lange hin. Ich fülle es mir immer in eine kleineere Flasche ab, so kann es auch auch gut mit in den Urlaub oder zum Sport nehmen. Und jetzt das wichtigste: Es wirkt! Ich habe bereits 5 verschiedene Silbershampoos getestet und keines davon hatte den Effekt wie dieses. Ich hatte mir die Haare damals blondieren lassen und wollte unbedingt diesen granny Look also graue Haare haben. Wenn man sich die Haare beim Friseur grau färben lässt, wäscht sich das grau leider nach ein paar Wäschen immer wieder raus. Aber nicht mit diesem Shampoo ! Ich habe meine Haare somit schon über ein Jahr lang grau ohne sie nachfärben zu müssen. Wenn man das Shampoo längere Zeit nicht mehr benutzt wäscht sich die Farbe natürlich wieder raus. Aber ich nutze es jeden zweiten Tag und lasse es immer ein bisschen einwirken. Manchmal sogar auch eine Stunde. Einfach ein Handtuch drum wickeln und später wieder ausspülen. Ich bin wirklich richtig begeistert. Es spart den Friseur Termin und diese Flasche hält ewig. Mittlerweile benutzen es auch viele im Bekannten Kreis weil ich immer wieder gefragt wurde, wie ich es schaffe das diese Farbe so lange hält. Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Noch ein kleiner Tipp: Am besten immer mit kaltem Wasser auswaschen, dann kommt der Effekt noch besser ;-)
