Digital Luggage and Suitcase Scale with Tare Function - 110 Pound / 50 Kilogram Capacity, Battery Included, Black

This is a great luggage scale that provides a reliable indication of the weight of suitcases and other bags. It's compact enough to pack away easily and has been really useful for checking luggage before travelling, as well as weighing other items around the house. Operation is straightforward. The metal strap wraps securely around the suitcase handle, and you simply lift it for a few seconds until the reading locks. I've noticed a slight variation between readings, although I suspect that's more to do with how consistently the bag is lifted and held rather than the scale itself. In practice, the difference is minimal and more than accurate enough for avoiding airline baggage surprises. I've yet to test it with a fully loaded 20 kg+ suitcase, but the construction feels solid and the metal strap inspires confidence. One thing that did make me curious is the advertised 50 kg capacity. While that's undoubtedly the maximum load the internal sensor is designed to measure, I struggle to imagine many people comfortably lifting a 50 kg suitcase by one hand long enough to take a reading!! I suspect the generous capacity is primarily there to provide plenty of headroom, meaning a typical 20 to 30 kg suitcase is well within the scale's operating range rather than close to its limit. Overall, it's a simple, well-made and practical travel accessory that does exactly what it needs to do. I'd happily recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid unexpected baggage fees at the airport. I recommend this for travel or any other weighing needs you might have.

Very useful and does its job ! leaving room of 0.5 kg as suggested by other customers, so there aren't issues at the airport. well packaged and comes with batteries. Very economical and easy to use. Looks durable and easy to see the display.

I picked up the Amazon Basics Digital Luggage Scale specifically to keep track of bag weights and avoid unexpected hassle at check-in. After taking it on a recent trip, I can comfortably say it works simply and reliably. It provides quick peace of mind before you even step foot in the airport. One of the best features of this scale is how compact and easy it is to pack. It fits effortlessly into your hand luggage without adding noticeable bulk or weight. Having it tucked away in your carry-on means you can easily bring it abroad with you for the entire duration of your trip. In terms of operation, the scale performs very well and keeps things straightforward. I love the option to toggle between pounds and kilograms, which makes it easy to match whatever measurement unit you need. It comes with the battery included so it is ready to use right away, and the tare function works as expected for getting clean readings. This proved to be super handy for an all-inclusive style holiday. On a recent trip to Cyprus, we used it to test our hold luggage to ensure we didn't get caught off guard with TUI's weight limitations. It is especially useful for avoiding any nasty surprises at the airport when packing to come home, as bags always seem to get heavier on the return leg. This product is ideal for regular travelers, vacationers going on all-inclusive trips, or anyone who wants to double-check their baggage weight before arriving at the terminal. Bottom line: Highly practical, simple to use, and convenient to take abroad. It does exactly what it promises and effectively removes the guesswork from packing.

Worked well for my holiday and was basically accurate to what came up on the airport weighting scales (only minor difference). Easy to use, and good readability with tare function. Would recommend especially for the cheap price.

Got tired to weight the luggage at home while holding it and standing on scales + outside of the home it was always a guess. - You can weight bags up to 50 kg, but keep in mind it will be a bit difficult to handle. Even a luggage of 20 kg is not exactly as stable while weighting as holding by it's own handle. - It's not exactly "pocket" friendly, but small enough and portable. - Has a simple, easy to read screen with either LBS or KG options. - They are not your (good) kitchen scales accurate to grams, but accurate enough for the luggage. It is cheap and cheerful, good value for money. For the price, definitely worth it. Hope it helps, cheers!

Faultless

Cheap, cheerful does what it says. Simple to use and the weight of my luggage matched the airport scales. No point paying more if you are going to use this once or twice a year. Would recommend.

Easy to use and seems to be accurate having travelled with it this week. All good at the baggage checkin. However…. I’ve already had to change the battery twice! I use it maybe, three times and then a LO battery sign appears and it switches off. Clearly, there is a fault here. I’m annoyed because we have a dual stop flight and I brought it to travel with us to check baggage weight at each stage. Now, I’ve had to guess and it will be going back. Unfortunately, it is not fit for function.

Klare 5 Sterne!
