I have an existing peephole - will this easily fit if I remove the current one ? Or new drillhole required ?

The Yale Product easily replaces a standard 14/15mm Peephole viewer though the surface area on the interior does need to be wide enough to accomodate the digital viewer, the only tricky bit i found was feeding the ribbon through the door

one photo shows the yale logo. the other not can the logo be removed

as of 1/1/2022, no yale logo appears when you turn the thing on.

Does this eat batteries (as some of these digital door viewers do), or is it efficient from a battery consumption point of view ?

I've had the same batteries in it since I bought it and that was a few months ago

Hello, If I positioned the internal viewer vertically rather than horizontally, would the image automatically adjust to a vertical view?

I don’t think it would twist round. Mine is in position now so I can’t be sure. It’s very good though and there battery lasts very long.
