Absolutely brilliant I used to use my food processor to chop garlic, ginger etc, but this is so much finer. Practically turns it into a cream. Very easy to clean also. The only minor negative would be that the blade cover could be a bit smoother to take on and off.

We love this, great for grating garlic into a pulp or for cheese on pasta (it grates very finely, ideal for parmesan). Gets daily use in our household. Also very easy to clean. It's very nicely made with high quality materials.

Lasted 5 years before breaking, definitely could be constructed better

I have bought two of these graters previously. They were very useful but flimsy and broke easily. However, the design has changed and this one has a much sturdier metal frame, making it so much more robust.

This is sharp (do keep it in its sleeve!) so makes light work of even the hardest cheese. It grates in to a fine cloud of Parmesan - light and fluffy! The greater surface area is great for flavour.It is GREAT if you want to use less cheese - less of it goes a longer way because of how fine it is. If you are working to a recipe and need to hit a weight though, it's a pain. 10g in to my 100g mix of Pecirino/Parmesan for a recipe, I went back to my normal grater. I was getting so few grams for my effort with this!

Troisième râpe microplane que j'achète du même type pour équiper cette fois-ci une amie.Très belle qualité de fabrication.Les lames sont tranchantes et permettent un râpage de haute qualité et de bonne tenue dans le temps.Le chocolat, le parmesan, les zestes (vous retrouverez j'espère le plaisir de zester un citron ou une orange !!) le gingembre ... tout est découpé finement, de manière mousseuse pour le parmesan ...un régal à utiliser mais attention au nettoyage : personnellement à la main sous l'eau chaude et en faisant attention à mes bouts de doigts c'est très tranchant ...
