D'Addario EJ27N Classical Nylon Guitar Strings Normal Tension

These are excellent quality classical guitar strings with a superior bright tone. They settle in quickly after fitting the strings, and after standing for about 48 hours and retuning, more or less hold their pitch well without much retuning. This is a problem with many cheaper brands that seem to keep stretching forever, and need constantly retuning. The 'normal tention' is easy on the fingertips and will suit beginners and advanced players equally well. I have had a set of these on my Valencia VC304asb guitar for about 3 months now, and they are still sounding as good as ever, with very little signs of wear on the clear nylon or the wound strings. So the durability, and silver plating on the low E, A and D strings seems good. Overall, they are well worth the price. Recommended.

Great product and very affordable price!

I have a Valencia guitar, probably the cheapest on the market, and this string brought my experience into another whole new level. Strings are as important as the instrument itself. The bass strings sound very sharp and the all the strings respond very quickly to the strokes. However, their vibrations are a bit exaggerated and making the treble strings to overcome the bass ones is a bit of a challenge. Perfect for Spanish classical genre. I have never heard Asturias (for an example) sounding so powerful and colourful as with these strings. Definitely will buy the same package [at least the same brand] again.

Great strings. Bought as replacement strings for my nylon string electro acoustic guitar. They break in easily and hold tuning very well. Nice bright sound quality. 10/10

Received my parcel at last after waiting for so long as they apparently got lost in the post along the way so no fault of the seller yet again. So the seller offered me a refund or send me out another pair of strings. which they did arrive this time. So I would buy from this seller again as they were polite and professional dealing with this issue. I do feel bad for the sellers as they having to depend on not so good delivery sometimes so may end up losing money or customers for that matter.

I bought these to resurrect my first ever guitar, a nylon strung student model which, according to its label, is a B&M Clasico, and which has been languishing unloved in the loft for the last 27 years. The strings were easy to fit and, apart from the G string, stayed in tune after a couple of stretches and retunes - although I suspect the issues had more to do with the rudimentary construction of the guitar than any problem with the string itself. They breathed new life into a neglected instrument, sounding round and full on the lower strings and sweet on the top three. The brand has a high reputation for all types of guitar strings, electric, acoustic and classical, and this set is proof that it is well-deserved.

It might be that my old strings were so worn out that I had forgotten what my guitar should sound like, but these strings made an instant difference. They have a bright and clear sound with more warmth than I was expecting at this price. It took about 36 hours for the tuning to settle. The only slight gripe was that the colour coding on the clear strings was very faint, so I had to go by their thickness instead. Not a problem, but it just meant a little bit more effort!

Fine for student classical guitars. Fairly robust strings for everyday use. Add a new 'brightness' to the sound of your old acoustic folk guitar, (dig it out from the cupboard under the stairs or from the attic, and dust it off) and play some of those old Bob Dylan or Joan Baez protest songs of the 1960's and 70's that you used to know several decades ago!!!! They will take a few days to settle in and stretch to their working tension, so you will have to retune frequently for the first few days to keep bringing them up to pitch. Good purchase for the money, and will add a new sparkle to the dull sound of an old acoustic guitar. Certainly recommend these for students, or beginners to the classical guitar.

Ces cordes sont d’excellentes cordes pour guitare classique, parfaites pour l’étude et la pratique régulière. Le son est clair, équilibré et agréable, avec une tension normale idéale pour les débutants comme pour les joueurs intermédiaires. Elles sont faciles à installer, tiennent bien l’accord après une courte période de rodage et offrent un bon confort de jeu pour les doigts. La qualité D’Addario est au rendez-vous, surtout au vu du prix très abordable. Un excellent choix pour travailler, apprendre ou remplacer ses cordes sans se ruiner. Je recommande sans hésiter.
