I did not know about these until finding and ordering them very recently. WAGO Lever-Nuts are the BEST! I wired pig-tail connectors in the load device (a series of electronic displays) and the 'home-run' cable to the controller itself. We fastened the two signal cables together with the WAGOs so we could fully test the equipment (four sets) in the lab. We did not disconnect the home-run cables from the controller and did not disconnect the pig-tail from the load device. All we did was disconnect the WAGOs and pack up for shipment. When this system was installed, we reconnected the WAGOs and began on-site testing. We had to cut and reconnect multiple other LVC wires in the motor controller cabinets and again - because they connect so much faster and reliably than wire nuts - we used them. On a few occasions, we had to disconnect and reconnect these LVC wires and again, the WAGOs quickly and easily accommodated the connect / disconnect process. Obviously they are more expensive than wire nuts - but for this high stakes application, SO WORTH IT. You can get them at Home Depot and pay nearly $1 each for them. Or you can pay half that at AMAZON. You will not regret this choice.

I recently installed a new head unit in my vehicle and was using a harness that went from the back of the car to the radio that was close to 20’ long. I wanted to make the necessary connections and plug the harness to the amp without running the harness wiring under all of the carpeting worst to make sure it would work. I found these connectors and figured I’d use them to make the initial connections and then easily disconnect when I determined the connections were correct and the harness worked before cutting the harness wiring to length. The connectors provide a very strong hold that are not easily pulled apart. I’m sure if you pulled hard enough it’ll pull apart but the same can be said for crimped butt connectors or even soldered connections. I just stripped about 1/8-1/4” of the insulation to ensure the copper wiring made a good connection and the connector had a bough of the insulation to provide good grip. I then ran the harness under the vehicle carpeting and center console and was left over with about 4’ of extra wiring. Thanks to these connectors, trimming and reconnecting each wire took less than 5 minutes. I felt so confident with the connections that I decided to leave them in. I used zip ties close to each side of the connectors to help increase the strength of the connections and decrease the likelihood of them pulling apart. I originally thought about wrapping them together although harness tape but I think that would be overkill and only add another step should the day come that I want to install a different head unit. They do take up a little more space that soldering and shrink tubing the connections but you gain much more in convenience. There are other similar connectors but they are a bit larger than these. Be sure to check the dimensions. I highly recommend these connectors for anyone that wants to make their radio install considerably quicker while having the ability to disconnect and reconnect in the future.

I really like these quick connectors. Got the for a project using both 18awg and 12awg wiring. 18is a nice, easy slide it fit. 12awg is right at the max for fit (as advertised). The orange locking tab closes down completely for both and makes a positive lock to the wire. Easy-peasy.

Worked great! Previously tried wire nuts i had to crimp, couldn't get them to fasteners securely. These were easy and held wires securely. Used on my zero turn mower.

These connectors are incredibly easy to use and make wiring much faster and cleaner. The lever mechanism holds wires securely and makes changes simple if needed. A basic item that I would recommend for almost any electrical installation.

These things are great. I use them for everything. They're great for testing things before making your wiring permanent. They're great for installing speakers in cars. Ive had them in vehicles for years and never had an issue. They are high quality unlike other brands. I've never had one of these break on me.
