Recently bought a new Samsung TV, slightly larger than our (still working) smaller Samsung. We bought another Samsung since our older one was still going strong after 6 years, but also because we love the ease of using the remote it has. Much to our consternation, it didn’t have the simple to use remote. Had the idea to use the old remote on the new tv, and it worked. We began the search for a remote similar to what we had, and took a chance. This worked perfectly, without programming, with perfect compatability, after only putting in the batteries! Works just as the original, is just as responsive, and was priced right for the successful experiment. Solved our problem of the confusing remote. Recommend!

A really great remote! It’s sleek, lightweight, and easy to use. The buttons are well-laid out, and navigation is fast and intuitive. I especially appreciate its compact design, which makes it easy to store. 📺✨

Excellent product. Very satisfied. Our remotes get lost often and I finally decided to get purchase a couple extra. My son lost his remote for his tv and was relying on his smartphone as a controller. He put batteries in this remote and it immediately worked with his tv - no problem!!!

Works as it should, right out of the box. Just open & insert 2 AAA batteries & you’re good to go. The remote feels nice & solid, easy to hold & the buttons are easy to click. Worth the $10 for sure.

Let me start by saying that I'm a picky person with things like this. So much so that I was really close to ordering a brand new remote directly from Samsung to the tune of like $180 after the one my wife ordered from another company selling on Amazon didn't meet my expectations. The one we tried before this one was too 'clicky', wouldn't work without line of sight at the TV, and the buttons were not responsive. There was a fine line between the button press not doing anything and it registering twice. This new one that I'm reviewing right now from THIS listing is so good it's legitimately better than the factory Samsung remote that came with the TV brand new! It's even more responsive, works no matter where it's buried, pointed, in the other room, upstairs, whatever... The buttons have a slight click but it's quiet, which is perfect. You know the exact point that the button was pressed, which makes the factory remote feel spongey and inaccurate in comparison. So for $15 I got a remote that better than the $180 factory option... And that's insane value. Two important things to consider: 1: Make sure the remote is compatible with your TV. I'm sure this is where the few negative reviews come from. Make sure your original remote has the exact same buttons... I've seen that if you get one with even slightly different buttons (like the 3 quick access buttons for Netflix, Prime, and Hulu) they tend to not work correctly. 2: Don't forget to pair it to the TV, which is really easy to do... Just point it at the TV while it's on, then press and hold the back arrow and the play/pause buttons together. That's it. Takes 5 seconds. This remote seriously works PERFECTLY. Every button works, and works instantly. I like it so much I bought another to replace the factory Samsung remote for our bedroom TV, relegating the factory one to backup status in the junk drawer... If you need a replacement remote for your Samsung TV, and your TV is compatible with this one... BUY IT. THIS IS THE ONE.

Super easy to use, and did not require any setup. Straight out of the packaging I was able to use the remote. Pretty much everything functions the way that you’d want it, including volume controls, Netflix shortcut, Amazon Prime Video shortcut and Hulu bottoms. The only control that doesn’t work the way I’d like it to is the voice control. The voice control doesn’t work at all. You can get around this by making it voice activated, but still kind of annoying, so I removed a star for that. I ended up finding my main remote and giving this one to my mom who also has a Samsung TV (and lost her remote lol). The buttons are responsive and it’s sleek, but different shape and looks than the original Samsung remote. Reminds me a lot of the fire tv remote.

A wonderful replacement for the original solar powered Samsung TV remote. We ordered this remote because the original remote frequently displayed the "battery low" message, even when placed near a sunny window. This particular remote has the three App Launch buttons for "Netflix, Prime Video and Hulu" which are the three services that we have. They work immediately, negating the need to use the icons at the bottom of the TV screen. Very handy! The pairing process worked perfectly on the first try. The remote is ergonomically comfortable to hold and use. It is well constructed with a solid feel to all the buttons and the volume and channel up/down paddles. Highly recommend.

It works as expected sometimes buttons have to be pushed more than once to work.

Good. Works straight out of the box for 90% of functions on the Frame. The only issues are the On/ Off does not have continuous hold and only puts the TV into art mode and not off/ standby. Also the fast fwd button also isn't continuous and needs to press for any forward or backwards and not a smooth scroll like the original. Not bad for the price I guess
