Slightly expensive but worth it
Have noticed quite a difference in the fullness of my beard with constant use. Definitely recommend. Love the smell aswell and lasts me around 4 months

Good, but not as firm as expected
This is a nice beard balm. And it controls flyaways. I was expecting something a bit firmer with more control though. This is soft and very easy to warm in the hands. Good when in a rush, but maybe not the full on hold I was hoping for. Smells good.

Good hold
I don’t mind the initial smell, it’s not bad. Feels grainy at first but works in well and is nice and oily. Works well into beard and feels good on the skin. Holds the beard well.

A bit overrated but good.
Good smell and feel as soon as it's applied. It has a natural feel and doesn't look like a synthetic cream (as many other balms are). That being said, it's a bit over priced. I also feel that the Gillette Beard Softner which is a fraction of the price holds better and lasts longer through the day. In terms of durability, with Honest Amish, though the beard doesn't feel rough at the end of the day, it doesn't feel smooth or silky either.

One of the best all natural beard products out there!
Very mild scent if any, just the natural smell of the product. The actual balm is very nice, very soft more like a butter, you will notice the difference in just a couple of uses! It is extremely nourishing and soothes all beard itch and dandruff very quickly! I have used nearly every all natural and organic beard care product, as I like to compare and try new things (while keeping it natural) I do not like perfumes and all that rubbish! And I can safely say Honest Amish is up there with my 2 other favourites that are brighton beard company and Sweyn forkbeard. Very pleased with this product and can't wait to buy the oil and the normal balm to see how they compliment each other. Great natural product, Thank you!

An ok balm
Its a decent balm though not my favourite, pretty good to keep in as a back up for when my others run out. It hold quite well though I find it a touch gritty if not rubbed in enough. The balm has a slightly aniseed smell to it that I'm not personally a fan of but some might like. Overall it's OK for what you pay.

Great Balm
I've gone through my fair share of beard oil/balm to find something that works for me. This really seems to nail a good balance of hold/moisturizing, without being overly greasy. The smell is a mix of spice and molasses. It's very unique to what I've used in the past and I was really surprised by it - but in a good way. It definitely suits the brands name haha. The balm itself is on the softer side, but with some good hold. My beard is pretty curly so between this and my morning routine (straightening/brushing) this has been excellent at softening my beard. A little bit also goes a long way, I use probably just over a dime-size of balm and it works for my beard (longish length). Overall, very happy and I will continue to support this brand based on this balm alone.

Great Product for the New Beards or the Full Grown Beards.
Scent: It has a citrus scent with a spicy under-note. The scent is really not strong at all. I use the regular Beard Balm and lots of reviewers By the time l put on hair products and cologne or body spray the scent is gone. I really like them both. This scent is weaker and I notice it on me far less than the regular Beard Balm. ingredient list on my new tin changed slightly from what it says on my old tin. I was kinda sad about that because I LOVE the scent of this stuff and didn't consider it to be that strong in the first place. So, there you have it. If you want less scent, their new formulation has less scent.) Hold: It's not bad. I use quite a bit--mostly for the conditioning--and I think it holds up pretty well even after my 9 or 10 hour work days. It is really not a sculpting type of wax, l am looking for something stronger my beard is more bushy than l want, but l keep going through the growth phase. Conditioning: It's been every bit as good as the regular Beard Balm at softening, thickening, and keeping my beard itch and flake free. It's good stuff. Makes me wonder what I was doing growing beards without a conditioning oil. Is it greasy? Well, it's a conditioning oil. It has a bunch of different oils in it. If you've used a beard oil before, you know what you're in for. If you're wary, just use small amounts. With a small amount, your beard should soak it up quickly and you'll hardly notice anything at all. Just rub the extra in to your mustache or side burns, dont waste it. How do you use it? As recommended, I "melt" it in my hand and apply it to a damp beard. At this point, I do a "gentle" styling with my comb and wait about 10 to 20 minutes for my beard to dry. Once my beard is totally dry, I'll get out the comb or a "barrel" brush and do a more aggressive shaping and fluffing. At this point, the wax has set pretty well so you can move your beard around more. Should I buy the bigger tin? If you have a big beard, you aren't shaving it any time soon, and you want lots of conditioning and lots of hold--yes. Otherwise, this smaller tin will last you two months or so--with everyday use--depending on how much you use each day. I use the large tin and even using larger amounts it seems to last a long long time. Should I get the regular balm instead? If you aren't concerned about shaping your beard and you want good conditioning--yes. Is it worth the price? Yes. Shipping was really fast. l did see its available at Wal Marts, but l still purchased from Amazon. The tin is nice and sturdy. Combine this with a good hair conditioner for the shower and you'll love the results. Even if I only got, let's say, one month of use out of a tin, I'd still say that it's worth it. It really makes a big difference compared to growing a beard without it.
