Minky Freestanding Portable Rotary Airer, Washing Line for Indoor, Outdoor or Camping Use

Well made and seemingly sturdy rotary airer. Have not yet used it but it looks and feels like a good buy. Seems large enough to take a decent wash load. Yes, the sliding parts are made of plastic, but they are robustly made and I would expect them last unless abused. Also packs well, collapsing into two parts and fitting back into the box it came in.

Lots of space, the outside lines are wide enough for a single bed sheet or single duvet cover, that was my main buying point, but you need to fold those large items over the line. Smaller heavy items like hoodie tops or jeans that as slow to dry are better pegged to the line rather than folded over the line for better drying speed. The dryer is well made and is sturdy, the legs are a tripod style, so more balanced than a traditional clothes horse that will blow over in the wind, as this rotates the wind just spins the dryer (assuming a decent breeze not a gale). Its great indoors if you have the room and outdoors and its easily moved while folded up. It folds easily with built in clips that hold the legs and arms in place. The loss of one star on the Easy to fold is, don’t turn this dryer upside down when folding up the arms, it tangles the washing lines making it difficult to open again, not impossible but its time consuming and fiddly to work out what line crosses another. I learned that the hard way. All in all this is a great buy, it holds more washing than an old style clothes horse and the items dry faster as the clothes are not hanging on top of each other, with the outside items blocking air flow to the inner items. It is less prone to blowing over outside (it hasn’t yet after a few uses outside) unlike my old clothes horse. The only caveat is you need space for it, especially if you want it to rotate freely.

So, I bought a rotary washing line, which I wanted to have out on my patio. I researched a few and eventually settled on this one, because of the reviews and it was a brand I recognised. I didn't think there would be any problems... After buying this item and being notified of it's dispatch, I eagerly waited for delivery. I was disappointed, when I was notified by Evri that there was an "unexpected delay". When I looked at the tracking, it appeared that the item hadn't been dispatched, because Evri were still waiting to receive the package. Of course, these things happen and after a few days, the washing line was finally on it's way. When I did receive it, I was disappointed to see that the item I was sent was not the rotary washing line I had purchased, but an indoor/outdoor drying rack. Despite this inital disappointment though, I have decided to keep the item, because it is the same price and I am able to use it outside; it just isn't a rotary line, which is what I was needing really. Anyway, what I recieved is of good quality, it's sturdy, easy to use, and currently, it is sat outside holding up well, to it's first load of washing. I think it will be easy to keep clean and seems to be good value for money. If it were the rotary line, then it would be staying outside, but due to this error, I have had to make room inside, but it does fold down and save space. So, the only reason for not rating five-stars, is because of the error, more than anything to do with the actual item I received. I can only advise others to be aware, when buying this, because you may not get what you are expecting. Hopefully, this is just a one off, but I would recommend what I received, after just one use, so far. Watch this space though...

Great for drying clothes at home or when camping. Would recommend weighting it down in windy conditions, I use a sand bag at the bottom. Versatile and useful. Can get a lot of clothes on.

Love my Minky rotary dryer! I’ve tried different brands & this for me is the best. It holds a complete load & unlike many others has never blown over!! I would definitely recommend this dryer, it’s a great quality, sturdy product

Gratamente satisfecha.Buscaba una solución para utilizar el patio de forma esporádica para tender que pudiera plegar fácilmente y no me ocupara tanto espacio ya que con la situación actual mi tendedero se me queda algo escaso y me ha sorprendido lo versátil que es este tendedero.Se ve robusto y además de muy fácil montaje y de calidad . Plegado ocupa poco más que un paraguas grande y no pesa nada. ¡Me encanta!

This is a Quality made product & an absolute MUST for drying clothes indoors or outdoors. Comes with Ground Pegs to secure the base into the ground, if possible, or just attach a small weight to the base for added security if a little breezy. Larger than expected & ideal for clothes ranging from Shirts to Underwear & socks. Even managed to dry a sheet when draped over the whole line. This is a solid 5 Stars for Build Quality, Design and Usability. HIGHLY recommend this for balcony, small back garden, indoor & camping users...

Solido come uno stendino da campeggio può esserlo ovviamente!!!! Non può essere paragonato ad uno stendino in legno e metallo da utilizzare quotidianamente a casa….. Resiste al vento e contiene molta biancheria. Anche gli asciugamani più grandi ci stanno perché i fili più esterni sono sufficientemente lunghi e alti rispetto al terreno. Assolutamente promosso a pieni voti!

I don't have a clothes line and needed a place to dry throw rugs and pool towels. The Minky Freestanding works like a charm. It was simple to assemble. I like that it rotates so that it can be turned into the sun when needed. And, the footprint is small enough that it can go on the screened porch if necessary.
