Golden Acrylic Satin Glazing Liquid

From all mediums that’s the one I use most… can’t leave without.. one of the best in the market

I follow a Canadian Artist who paints on YouTube every week. He recommends using Amsterdam paints and Golden Acrylic Satin Glazing Liquid. I'm new to painting so I'm still experimenting with glazing effects but it's a wonderful product. Not too glossy or shiny and it goes a long way. I've uploaded my version of the Glenfiddich Stag - Monarch of the Glen, where I used lots of glazing to get the colour changes and effects in the fur. I think this was the first time I'd ever used glazing fluid. I'm pretty happy with it.

Great for collage as does not dry straight away you get 5 to 20 mins repositioning time. Can also be used to glaze and thin down acrylic paint. Nice satin to matt finish. Dries totally clear.

lasts a long time... does a great job. I don't really notice, or think about the 'satin' finish. For me, it's neutral, which is what i want. Perhaps you would see it differently. There is no matt option far as i know

My Acrylic paint went from drying out in an hour, to me being able to peel away the top layer and still use my paint a day later. Which is great if you get tired of precision work such as miniature painting. I used a metallic paint, and expected a different finish, however it doesnt seem to give much extra finish compared to thinning with water? Not sure if its about ratios or if its just basically matte. Perhaps I should have tried my luck with a glossy one.Either way, if you just need a matteish finish, and want your paint to flow a bit better and not dry out the second you arent using it, its nice to have and will last a while.

Helpful in extending drying time of acrylic paints particularly in the summer heat

I use this to prepare my Bible Pages it is brilliant. I prefer using this product to Gesso because it leaves the page smoother after it dries and not as sandy. I am really pleased with this purchase and have just purchased another bigger bottle. Great!!

I am new to painting and acrylics are notorious for drying quickly. Using this helps the paint be soft and smooth and allows the blending of acrylics to be more effective or at least for me a lot easier. Don’t need to use loads so it lasts a long time and I prefer it to using the flow improver. It does not weaken the paint pigment and keeps the paint from being too watery. If you are new to painting with acrylics I would definitely recommend this product.

Miracle cure for acrylic painting. I struggled with acrylics for over a year trying to conquer them for my southwest paintings. Oil takes to long to dry in Fl. I saw this stuff I bought last year but never used it. I did a test run with a small, test sample painting today and it blended like butter....Love the texture and response. There's hope I may conquer acrylics yet. I really felt like I was painting with oils.

Produit magique, reste à savoir le maîtriser ! Dommage reste assez cher hélas.

Habe mir das Glazing Liquid gekauft, um meine Bibel Seiten fürs Bible Art Journaling vorzubereiten. Dafür eignet es sich wunderbar, sodass man hinterher kein Durchbluten mehr hat. Es ist etwas flüssiger als Gesso,und hinterlässt einen leicht samtigen Untergrund auf dem Papier, jedoch weniger sandig,als Gesso. Allerdings braucht es etwas länger bis bis es ganz getrocknet ist. Aber dann halte ich den Föhn eben 1 Minute länger drauf :) Für mich ist es das bevorzugte Produkt. Ich bin absolut zufrieden und würde es für diese Zwecke weiter empfehlen!

È un prodotto ottimo per fare velature con i colori acrilici. L’ho adoperato anche per proteggere i disegni a carbone su cui andare a mettere il colore. È satinato ed io preferirei una finitura matta
