Westinghouse Wall Control.
I bought this control unit for my Pepeo Vourdries ceiling fan and it works very well together. The slowest speed setting that this unit gives was slower than the original remote control that came with the fan, making it easier to sleep with for my bedroom.

Warning: doesn't work on ordinary light switch.
Customers should be warned controller can't be installed in all existing light switches, only ones with a third wire and properly wired wall.

I've rated it 3 stars as it looked a very nice unit and I'm sure it would have worked well.. Unfortunately, though, I wasn't able to use it as it is too big to fit in the wall space where the present light switch is and I didn't want the electrician to start drilling to make the space larger and cracking the plaster etc.

Compatibility issue
This item was bought along with a Westinghouse Turbo Swirl 78158 ceiling fan. It was recommended that these are bought together and indeed on Westinghouse's data sheet for this fan, it recommends using the wall controller. Once received I found out that the fan can only be controlled by a 2 pole switch and it is not wired up to receive a separate wire for the ceiling fan and light. I tried to contact Westinghouse customer care via email but have yet to get a reply. I have returned the wall controller and ive purchased the remote control option to see if that will work

Works a treat. Unfortunately could not use the remote as it would have meant complete rewiring which would have been extremely difficult.

Good looking and seems to do the job
Good looking and seems to do the job. Will appreciate it better in the hot weather when fan in use, The light is not quite bright enough for me, however that could be me not operating the remote correctly.

funktioniert mit meinem Westinghouse Deckenventilator sehr gut.
Das einbauen war etwas fummelig, da die Anschlussklemmen am Schalter sehr klein sind. Sollte man nur machen wenn man vom Fach ist. Aber die Funktion ist super.
