At the old haunted house In a room with no sun Lived a warty green witch And her wee witchy one. There are all kinds of creatures in the house: a big Ma monster and her wee monsters two, a scrawny black cat and her wee kittens three, a green Pa goblin and his wee goblins four, and more! Count along as the creatures prepare for the Halloween Fright. The text, written in the pattern of the popular poem “Over in the Meadow,” makes reading aloud fun, while the cinematic illustrations set the scene for an unforgettable romp through the old haunted house. Trick or treat! Review: Cute story - Really cute story written to the cadence of “Over In The Meadow” so you can sing it or chant it. Rhyming words are pretty good and the pictures are great. My kids love this book. We read it over and over. Review: A Fun and Charming Book - A wonderful way to entertain and teach counting to preschoolers. I especially love the colorful illustrations. There are so many things to talk about on each page. This book is delightful!

Good
Nice cadence and rhythm for a read aloud. Nice artwork, beautifully bound, okay story. Good ages 2-5. Not as big a winner as Room on the Broom, but a okay Halloween work. Sound purchase

Wonderful book
This is a gift for my daughter. She reads to the children at the fire station where she is an EMT. The illustrations are lovely and the story so entertaining! We love Halloween.

Very cute!
I bought this book for our 3 year old after he’s been into Halloween cartoons and toddler appropriate “spooky” things more this year. We read to him every night before bed, so I wanted something cute for Halloween but not “scary” and was age appropriate. This checked all the boxes! He’s asked for it every night this week :) very cute!

This book is awesome
My toddler loves everything Halloween (especially vampires, bats, and witches) and this book has it all. The rhyming is perfect, which helps him memorize it and turn it into a song (he loves to do that). The illustrations are super colorful and fun. Fantastic book!

Wee O.H.H.
