Strata Hydrosure Water Butt connector kit. Ideal if the Pre-cut holes are 25mm in diameter
If you have a slimline 100 litre water butt and you need to link it with another one this kit is ideal. The reason is if you have a Slimline model with pre-cut holes already made for a Down pipe & Linking kits , the chances are the hole size will be 25mm.Most linking kits I have seen both here and on eBay have thread sizes of 30mm or larger.This is just the right size and fitted perfectly. Unfortunately , with no rain forecast I've yet to find out whether it leaks !!!

Cheap, does the job, easy to fit.
This is a very cheap branded item. You need a drill and 27mm bit to cut the holes and these are easily done. I did not have a 27mm bit so used a 32mm bit which makes fitting the pipe connectors easy to insert. The connectors have a rubber washer to prevent leaks. once the connectors are fitted to the two water butts it is then just a simple matter of cutting the corrugated pipe to the length you need and pushing each end onto the connectors. Fine for daisy chaining at the top, not so good for bottom daisy chaining waterbutts - they’re not watertight under pressure, with sealant required around the fitting and jubilee clips required around the pipe to stop the leaks.

The diameter could be 2 inches instead of 1.25 and the hose could be longer to allow for large barrells.

C'est le seul raccord ou l'on peu faire un coude. Dommage qu'ils ne le proposent pas avec le raccord vissé coudé également. Bon produit.
