RecPro RV Skylight Outer Dome | 14" x 22" Universal Outer Skylight (Clear)

I've never done anything like this before but I did it with no trouble and it is still working great!

This is good quality and fit over the RV cut out perfectly. I chose to use the curved dome from the same company because it seemed thicker and strong. But this would also work just fine. The sunlight comes through well and is still bright enough but protects things inside from the sun.

Thin. It isnt as thick as my original but my original had a crack on the edge so it needed replaced. Unfortunately its a side shower light cover and sticks up on the side so I needed more clearance. It looks decent and installed well with butyl tape and lap sealant. Its just thinner than I would have expected from this brand. Durability is TBD.

Zero stars! This thing is absolute garbage. Be warned if you buy this piece of junk and install it in your RV, it WILL crack after a few months (or weeks) and you WILL have one heck of a problem on your hands when you’re on the road in the rain or snow or dust (which is always when RVing). I bought two of these pieces of transparent tissue (that’s what I call them to keep it clean) for two skylights in my RV. I replaced my original domes because they were just old and brittle looking (big mistake using this junk). Upon arrival I was a little skeptical in that these things are paper thin plastic with zero integrity whatsoever. Cheap cheap cheap! I thought since they’re purpose made domes they must work right? Wrong! Within a couple months one of them had cracked on every corner so I replaced it with good ole plexiglass. Couple more months and the second one cracked all along the leading edge which I also replaced with plexiglass. The second crack got noticed when water started pouring in during a rainstorm! Luckily it was over the shower! Bottom line, you’re notified. Good luck.. Oh, BTW, the 1/4” plexiglass sheets I installed are working like a charm. I’ll never have to worry about the plexiglass:) Lesson learned…

For a 2020 Lance travel Trailer Model 1985 The stock outside covers for the bathroom skylight and the main area lasted 5 years and then cracked. Remove old cover and screws and throw away. Clean the area. Fill the old screw holes with rv sealant [ flush ]. Place the new, thick, smoke cover over the area and offset the new holes away from the original holes. Use stainless-steel screws. Seal with self leveling RV Goop and finish the RV Roof Tape.

Fits perfectly, as described.

This is a perfect replacement for a cracked skylight on my Porto Class B. I used a silicone calk per instruction on Winnebago website. No more leaking!

After a long search on Amazon found this model that is identical to the original bathroom shower skylight on our Lexington B+. Ordered the crackle finish like the original. Don't forget to order Dicor self leveling grout and 1" wide mastic tape. Used an oscillating tool with the knife attachment to easily remove the old grout and mastic. Very satisfied with the results.

I think you should let folks know that this skylight does not come with screws. Absolutely nothing to fasten it to the roof. It should be clearly stated in the ad.
