Disappointing
Too much friction in the bearings. Causes the surrounding frame to rotate and the performance to end too soon. My 1950s all metal toy gyroscope was much better.

Good Fun and Very Educational
This is a well made product where the spinning gyro can be filled in the plastic globe and if you are very quick to put it in the box will stand on the box corner. Also does the simpler things of balancing on the string or a biro point. Taught my 6-y-o granddaughter why she can only balance on her bike when it's going along!

Useless waste of money!
Absolute rubbish! Don't waste your money on this item! There is way too much friction between the housing and the spinning weight and it slows down too quickly. The spinning weight is too light, it does not keep the gyroscope stable. This item is a pathetic excuse for a gyroscope! Oh, and it is not returnable and not refundable! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!

Smooth running & sturdy
After reading several reviews on other gyroscopes I chose this one. It proved to be a good choice as it looks well made & sturdy plus runs extremely smoothly. Worth paying the little extra and I have no hesitation in recommending it.
