If you've ever had to use the scissor jack that came with your car to change a tire, then you know the short, bent piece of steel "handle" that comes with it is crap. It's too short to give you good leverage, and you have to reset it to the opposite side for each turn. This handle solves all that. It fit my jack perfectly. One time of using the original will convince you that you need one of these! I can't comment on the quality, as I just bought it and gave it a quick test. I think it will work fine, but I'm keeping my original handle as a backup, just in case.

I find the traditional two-piece tool used to turn the jack screw to be hard to use. This tool allows you to make a simple circular or a reciprocal back-and-forth motion to turn that screw. It's a ratchet. You need to have enough clearance to avoid hitting the side of your car. There is an adapter you can bolt to your scissors jack if the wrench won't fit. Durability? Hard to know. You won't use it a lot and it seems sturdy enough. The problem I see is that you can strip the ratchet but I don't think the force involved in turning the jack screw would be a problem.

I recently had to change a tire on my 2019 KIA STINGER GT2 AWD, and experienced so much frustration with the janky next-to-worthless jack handle that came with the car that i was determined to find a better means. Thats when i discovered this ratcheting handle that makes the job so much easier and efficient. Like others mentioned, zero instructions came with the ratcheting handle, but i found videos online to provide answers to a few questions that i had. The ratcheting handle has a nice overall substantial heft to it, although the yellow plastic side panels feel a bit cheap. The ratcheting mechanism has a somewhat loose tolerance feel, but overall it works fine for the occasional use. If i could suggest any improvements for this product it would be: 1) Get rid of the cheap plastic side panels and replace with a better fitting grippy rubber surface. 2) Provide a carrying case that you can store not only the ratchet handle itself, but also the loose nut/bolt/washer and adapter plate hardware that comes with the handle. I resorted to placing the loose adapter hardware in a plastic bag and used 2 rubber bands to secure it to the ratchet handle so it wouldn't get lost when i needed it. 3) For extra-credit, maybe even consider adding a small LED light into the handle to help illuminate tire changing at night. With that said, this ratcheting handle is so much better performance-wise than the OEM jack handle that i highly recommend it!

You never think you need this product till you have to change flat with a butterfly jack. This makes the process a whole lot easier for cranking. It’s small enough just to put in your car and leave there and you’ll be happy when you need it

The quality is great, sturdy and strong. However, in order to connect it to my jack, i needed to use the other part that came with it. I thought it was going to work with the extended part of jack but it did not fit. It is also very uncomfortable to swing when the tires are close to the ground. But you will not be using it everyday so it will get the job done. For that price point, i will recommend it but if you change tires occasionally, may be look into something else.

Too simple. THIS IS THE TOOL TO LEAVE INSIDE ANY VEHICLE. If I were to improve the tool on an already 5-STAR product, the adapter can be included in the handle. I already used it. Same as the video, any child can use it. Effortless. This is the gold standard. I won't even buy anything else other than a torque wrench. Outstanding.
