I put a disc in tank to feed one goldfish. It seems to of eaten it all in 24 hours! (disk is not hidden under pebbles) ??

Yes, I put one in the night before I went away just in case I forgot in the morning. By morning a third had been gobbled up by 2 fish. I ended up putting the 2nd one in too as I didn’t want the fish to go hungry while I was away for the week. I have a small 26 litre tank and according to the Spanish instructions, 1 should have lasted 6 days.

It's a bit of both really. They nibble at it making it break up a it quicker but it holds together quite well, lasting for a few days depending on how many fish you have!

Hi You will find some feeding guides on the back some where which would give you a rough guide but I would only put one in there because you will find that your gold fish will eat it all within a day or two and that should be enough until you get back if you were to give it both of them it would eat both and then you will over feed him or her what I tend to use is the tetra goldfish sticks they give you a better guide line on how much to feed your fish not only that the stick a hard and soften in the water so that your gold fish will just be able to peck at them as mentioned earlier you have to be careful and not over feed hope this helps or have I just made it more difficult for you if so sorry about that
