8.4" Uconnect Touch Screen Compatible with 2017-2020 Ram 1500 2500 3500

This 8.4” Uconnect touchscreen digitizer was installed in a 2017 Dodge Challenger as a replacement for a broken screen. Very easy installation took about 10 minutes, and fitment matched the original well. The screen looks very clear and bright like factory once installed and has functioned properly so far. Touch response has been consistent, with no issues observed during use.

The digitizer came a day early! It was well packaged. It came with a perimeter strip of 3M adhesive already attached to it. The ribbon cable was pre-bent to perfectly slide into the connector. The system worked immediately after installation. Preparation hints: Heat the old digitizer with a hair drier for 30 seconds or so. This softens the adhesive. Use waxed dental floss to break and cut the seal. Spray the screen with "Goop-off" or equivalent. Work it around with a plastic kitchen spatula. Cleanup with paper towels, and finish the job with microfiber and alcohol. Whole cleanup took 15 minutes.

The install was as expected, cleaned all of the old glue off, fit perfect. Worked for a week, went to use the car after sitting over Christmas break and has a rainbow colored spot and it’s automatically selecting the screen again. Waste of a 2 hour project. Just buy the full screen replacement

fixed my dad 2018 ram 1500 screen. removing the old one left a sticky mess, but some isopropyl alcohol helped clean it up. new one works great!

My hubby got this as we ran into the ghost radio situation. Quality of the item is great and installation was easy about 30 mins to take old one and put the new one on. Only thing that took time was getting the old glue off. Your will need patience for that it took him 3.5 hrs to get it all off the actual screen but worth it in the end! Best money saved instead of getting a whole new radio I'd say try this!

I replaced my boyfriends digitizer after his Challenger screen started to delaminate, and it was super easy to install and works great. It’s less matte than the original, which we both like because it looks a lot cleaner

Works as intended but has a red edging around everything in the screen. Makes it hard to use the backup cam especially at night. Quality could be better.

2018 Ram Sport. Suggest preheating the old glass before removal. Be careful not to push on the LCD monitor with your plastic tools as you remove the old one or you'll damage some of the LCD crystals. There are some really good youtube videos on dash disassembly, removal, and fix, and re-installation. Plug and play. No issues since install over a week ago. New head unit is at least 2500 bucks. Great savings doing this.

Works great

Installed part correctly, but there was no display, just vertical lines. The reviews were 50/50, so for about $50, it was worth a gamble. Unfortunately, it didn’t work on my unit so I’m back in research mode. My car club tells me cuescreens.com is reputable.
