Really clever tool and saves a lot of time the only problem is one of the rods that holds the plastic centering peice it place broke the 1st time I used it but the other 1 is still going well

Does a job but expensive for what it is

The existing downlighters were 60mm the new downlighters needed a cutout of 75mm. This makes the job so easy. Very happy with the purchase.

As a spark, replacing downlights in a ceiling can be a pain, especially when the old cutout is 64mm and the new is 73mm. (As I found out recently) It's a proper faff with a pad saw and rips the plasterboard. Enter this thing. Brilliant yet simple peice of engineering. The plastic basically acts as guide in the old hole letting the holesaw do its thing on the outer side. Paid 15 quid for this which is a lot for a bit of plastic, a spring and a spindle but it's the sum of its parts which justifies the tag I feel. (Assuming it lasts of course) I would recommend this product 👌

This bit of kit will not only save you making a mess of the whole, it will keep the light level too.
