After so many years of using a stovetop kettle, about six months ago I finally bought an electric kettle and have been using it almost every day since. It made me wonder how I ever did without an electric kettle for so long. The kettle was pretty simple. It was a "Amazon Choice" and a very good one. It heated up the water very quickly and was easy to keep clean. The other day I thought it would be even more handy to have an electric kettle that stopped heating when a pre-programmed temperature setting was put in. I started looking for an electric temperature controlled kettle on Amazon and so many popped up. After reading so many reviews, I chose this Fellow Stagg EKG Pro Gooseneck. It had very good reviews and I liked the design. I was also familiar with the quality of Fellow products. When it arrived the next day I immediately put it to use and, I can honestly say, I haven't been this impressed and in love with an electronic device since my iPhone. It heats the water up very VERY quickly and even shows you the progression of temperature. It's SO easy to dial in the settings that I didn't even need to look in the instruction manual. I also love how you can pour and then put the kettle back on the base and it will HOLD that exact temperature for when you need to finish your brewing. I LOVE this kettle. I'm absolutely blown away by the quality construction, ease of operation and the compact design. It holds enough water for three 12 oz. mugs of coffee. The Fellow products are on the pricey side but it's the BMW or Mercedes of gadgets. I bought their coffee bean grinder a few years ago ago and have been extremely happy with it. I HIGHLY recommend this kettle. By the way, if you don't want a gooseneck kettle, Fellow has the same kettle with a traditional pour spout. I went with the gooseneck because I like to have precise water placement when I brew my coffee. This kettle is....let's see....what word can I use to describe it...OK....it's SENSATIONAL!!! Treat yourself and BUY IT!!

great kettle. my only regret is that it took me so long to decide to buy! I think the price point made me hesitate but so happy with this purchase. The small footprint, the settings, the pour of the well designed spout, the speed with which it gets to temp - oh, and easy on the eyes.

It's so pretty! It looks very nice on my counter. It heats up very quickly and it has so many options of temperature and can be on a timer to boil consistently.

I've only been using this kettle for about a week, but I'm starting to wonder how I ever got along without it. It's everything it is supposed to be: it's easy to set up, the temperature control is very precise, it heats very fast, and it has a built-in timer that is very useful. I think this is a terrific kettle, and I highly recommend it.

This kettle is extremely high quality, functional and its sleek design is a huge plus. It’s a bit pricey but I think it’s definitely worth the money!

review. At this price point, this kettle is problematic. I have only used it for a little over a year. This kettle fails where it shouldn’t: temperature. During operation of the kettle you’ll most likely be taking the kettle off and back on to pour. What I’ve found happens is that the base will revert to a random temp and get stuck there. What happens? It’ll attempt to heat up to what you set it at. What I ran into was this: I had the kettle set at just below boiling for coffee. I pour some water for my pour over and set it back on the base. What I notice is that the kettle base read the temp as 168. So the kettle cranks up the heat so it can heat it back up to 198. The issue? The water is already 196-198. It continuously fluctuates temperatures. I’d like to know the precise temperature of the water for making pour over coffee. At this price, I expect more.

Giving 3 stars for looks and functionality, but mine broke within two weeks of receiving it. Only used once per day in that time. It simply stopped entering heating mode when pressing the button. At first, jiggling on the base got it to start heating. Next day it was completely dead. I contacted Fellow customer service, a guy got back to me to say it's probably a firmware issue, and said if I lift the kettle and put it back down it would start heating. I found that humorous. No, it doesn't work. Amazon is sending a new one, hope it works.

This is great for holding water temp for the best pour over. The delayed scheduling is perfect for pre boiling for a faster morning. This one is all plastic for your touch points which for the money was surprising. The capacity is really for a single serving in regards of pour over. It’s made of stainless so it is very rust resistant. The cord length is great for counter use and not too long. It’s easy to clean due to the mouth being large enough for a brush/hand.

A bit pricey, but beautifully made. Excellent balance when pouring. Nice features, but one quirk is when it is unplugged, or the power goes out, you have to re-set the clock. Very fast bringing water up to the set temperature. Very happy with the kettle.

We’ve had this a couple of weeks and love it so far. It’s beautiful and functional. Being able to keep the water at the proper temperature is fantastic. Hopefully it lasts.

Great size, easy to pour, easy grip handle, quick boil to desired temperature. Well made. it is the perfect kettle. I would highly recommend.

Very unhappy about the customer services and the product. Contacting the Follow customer service to file a ticker for requesting a due to 1) The rubber seal on a lid is detaching automatically, it likely the rubber is worn out, damaged, or not properly fitted, causing it to lose its grip and come loose from the lid, especially when exposed to heat or pressure changes. 2) The temperature is not stable, it drops below set temperature automatically. This is very frustrated experience. Why? I got the first reply by email after 8 days long, and I was asked to follow the steps to descale the kettle if the kettle is not, and plus I need to submit the videos for showing that if the issues still exist. I emailed back for asking a replacement instead as I don’t want to waste time on the emails back and forth , and I don’t think this is a properly way to do as I bought this product since November 25 (This is not the exactly day to get the product lol) with Asurion 3 Year Kitchen Protection Plan but I having the above issues within 3 months of date of purchase. It’s sad, I waited the reply 2 days after again for clarifying that I have to follow the troubleshooting steps that they provided are intended to help resolve the issues with the kettle and it help them to determine the underlying problems with the unit if those steps work or not. My concern is, why a customer needs to figure out by him/herself if the troubleshooting works or not? As a customer, I believe that we will ask for returning /replacement if the products are not working properly as expected especially this product is not cheap. The problems have not been solved yet. I heard this product is very good and it’s an outstanding one, but I am so disappointed as it doesn’t work as expected and the customer service provided. I strongly recommend not buy this product with the 3 year kitchen protection plan again as either one not helping to solve the problems if needed.
