Works perfectly fine after one year of use (even after leaving it uncharged for three months in between)! Does the job as advertised.

It didn't switch on. Wasn't taking the charging.

I used this lock to lock my laptop and phones on 5pm in evening so that i can sleep peacefuly and deeply. Its a very helpful locker. The build quality is also very good. It doesn't look cheap quality. Be sure to lock your device before evening because in the night, your self control lowers and you will find it difficult to have the courage to lock your device using this locker.

Totally worth it. Battery lasts quite long.

I purchased this to help deter me from snacking between meals. It worked great for a while, but then I realized that with a little jiggle and a quick, slight pull the hasp releases. It still works but now that I know with very minimal effort I can easily open it, I now have to rely again on my limited willpower to avoid the snacks it is securing.

I have been using the Metal Timer Lock for about 3 weeks in the refrigerator. It works fine so far, and I have not needed to recharge it yet. I use the lock on an Igloo insulated lunch box, which has two zippers that can be anchored together using this lock, preventing access to the lunch box and midnight snacking. Also have a similar lunch box in the freezer that is secured using a brass padlock, and I keep the key in the first lunchbox. I originally used the Kitchen Safe (different company) for the same purpose, but found that although the electronics worked in the fridge, the plastic container on the bottom contracted in the cold and made it very hard to open. The Metal Timer Lock has proved to be a better solution for me.

Pros: • The lock I received seems pretty sturdy, and is for indoor use only. • It works as per the instructions. • It has an 5 second audio countdown to the actual locking. • It beeps when it unlocks just in case you aren't paying attention to it at that time. Cons: • There is no function to unlock it anytime you want to. The emergency unlock feature works only three times. • The audible locking/unlocking alarm is difficult to hear - something as simple as a cough drowns out the alarm and the alarm does not repeat. • The lock CAN be opened by pulling shackle apart just a fraction of an inch making it useless All in all, a cute little toy that doesn't really lock.
