I'm writing this review after using it for the first time and tried it with a few books and my laptop. As the most negative reviews said, it requires some effort to modify its shape, but that seems like a good compromise to me because I can feel that it is sturdy and it won't let go even if its supporting a rather heavy book or a laptop. Learning to use the paper clips takes a bit of practice, but they're well designed and hold pages solidly. Turning a page requires more work than without using this product, of course, as you need to adjust both clips (I use it to read paper books and take notes while I read). Also, you need to pay attention to the clips' mechanism initially, because it looks rather easy to do the wrong thing and break it. Don't force it without making sure you're applying force in the sense allowed by the hinges! The product look & feel is great. It feels sturdy and made of good materials. The bottom is soft so it can be confidently and comfortably used over glass. The 360 feature is quite useful to adjust the position as one moves in the desk. Overall, I'm super happy with it.

I bought this stand to hold books so I could read hands-free. It does exactly what I need it to do. The page holder wires are strong and work great for both a mass market paperback or a large hardback book. The stand is strong enough to handle a heavy hardback book. The stand swivels and makes the most delicious clicking sound. I cannot overstate the coolness of this feature. You can adjust the angle and tilt easily, giving you plenty of viewing options. If you want to use this as a tablet holder, the wire page holders fold out of view. The whole unit folds flat - about 3 inches high - for storage or travel. I am very happy with this purchase, as it solves a problem - reading actual books hands-free when my Kindle isn't an option. (I like to read while snacking.) This is also a great solution if you are using books as references while working. There is room to clip a book light into the unit if you need it. Definitely would buy again. There are plenty of similar items on Amazon, but this particular version was the right combination of quality and price for me.

I have bounced between a couple of different book stands and I’m finally sticking with one—this one! Other stands I’ve used slide back when I turn pages while reading/viewing a book on the stand (usually the bamboo stands I’ve had), and the page holders I’ve used on other stands almost never work for larger books (usually they are metallic arms that have a single range of motion). This stand is fantastic. So many points of movement so you can customize and get the exact height and angle for viewing. I also love how strong it is. At first I thought it might be annoying that the arms move so stubbornly but that’s a really good thing. I use some heavy books at time (1,000 pages or more!) and there is absolutely no regression in the angles I’ve set. It’s very sturdy. But once you get used to it the stand is easy to fold and store. I typically keep it compact on my bookshelf to conserve desk space and then take it out 1-2x a day as needed. This stand looks sharp, has a great cushioned grip pad on the bottom to keep it steady, rotates seamlessly in a 360 motion, and the page arms have an incredible range of motion (and I love that they can be stored behind the stand—mainly for when I use my iPad it keeps them out of the way). If you need a book stand you need this one.

I was straining my neck looking down at my books and with this now I don’t have that problem. It looks like good quality and the metal clips hold the pages really good. Only reason why I gave it 4 starts and not 5 is because the current book I have on is a medical book (and very heavy! About 5 pounds) and I can only keep it at a certain height. If I try tipping it down a little bit more the book and the stand itself fall down. Though the description says it can hold up to 22 lbs, I don’t think that is necessary true. But overall excellent for my other books as well.

I previously bought a book stand and had to return it. (The reason was that the lower part of the arms were set too close to the stand that the book rests on, and the 2-inch thick book I was reading was open to the first few pages... and the right side arm would not fit over the thick part of the book.) *But this Amasrich book stand solves that.* In the vendor's pictures, notice how the lower part of the arms jut out. That allows it to fit over the thick set of pages. I also tested this stand with small paperback books, and it also works well. One feature that also helps: this arm can rotate so that it can come from the left or right side, rather than from the bottom. Well engineered product - highly recommended.

I have had this for a few years now. I love it. I have no cons. It's held up over the years, hasn't gotten floppy or anything. I use it to keep up reference books for drawing.

Sturdy. Has been a good addition to the desk set up.

لا أنصح به القطع التي تمسك الكتاب قاعدتها من البلاستك بمجرد ما تحركها بيدك تنكسر القطع بسهولة والحافة التي تضع عليها الكتاب صغيره ما تنفع مع الكتب الي عدد صفحاته ٨٠٠ وهكذا والوزن ثقيل واذا وضعت عليه كتاب يصير اثقل غير مريحة بالفتح والاغلاق عندما قمت بارجاعه للبائع كانت تكلفة الشحن علي وليس على البائع
