I can't keep up with these tires. I've bought so many tires but yeah I give this five stars. I usually go through tires like nothing really because it only lasts about 2 weeks on my bike. Depends how fast you'll cycle really. But yeah here the good quality. If I was a lighter rider. Yeah they'll probably last longer but yeah but it doesn't come down to like the durability. It's perfect. It's just this is the weight of the wider. How fast they cycle. Easy to install as well. If you got the white rim and punch of protection, yes it is fits nicely resistance for a lighter rider. A lot of traction

I'm sorry to say that these are no better than what I had during the summer: ultra sport from Continental. Indeed the inside of the tire feels more rigged than ultra sport, but in terms of puncture proof they are just as bad. Or maybe is just my luck that I have in London. I also do a weekly tire inspection just to pull out some broken glass, but that still didn't help in my case. In terms of performance I couldn't write anything because I'm a beginner. Usually I ride about 300 miles/month and I had about the same amount of flat tires as with ultra sport. My personal experience would tell me that with any tire I'd buy is just a matter of playing my chances. As for the seller, I received them promptly and well packed. Update on 11-09-2018!! I now have to change my star rating from one to five. Here’s why! Since I originally purchased them on 20th ish of October 2016, I only had couple of punctures about the time of purchase, hence the salty review. Now is 11th of September 2018, I clocked a few thousand miles on these tyres with 0(zero, nada) punctures. I was at a sharp bend, me and a bloke were going at the same speed, road surface wet. The bloke behind me slipped, I didn’t. And I weight about 16 stones. I’d say these are pretty good tyres.

I originally converted to this brand and series, and indeed size, after finding my local bike shop out of stock of the range I had previously used. Punctures are hugfely reduced, and I would suggest NOT using those slime-filled inner tubes, firstly because they don't actually work as they ought to, secondly because they clogg up the valve, and thirdly because like every tyre on the planet they are still subject to shock-tears and seams splitting under pressure. So, standards inner tubes plus these and away you go. the 25mm is a huge performance advance over narrower guages, a much smoother ride and only a tiny additional roll drag to contend with - which might anyway be seen as a good thing as you work harder, and working hard is what cycle training is all about. I've also found thast wider tyres are somewhat less likely to puncture, which sounds against logic as a larger area is in contact with the road surface - but truth holds out.

Nice looking tyres. Survived first outing. So far so good. I found them no more difficult to fit than previous tyres. My one criticism is that if you are going to put direction arrows on a tyre, then, make them easy to see!

Worth the money. I ride to work every day all year round. One puncture a year at most and that will be the one you didn't stand a chance against.

I bought a Specialized Roubaix Carbon elite and have been riding it since Christmas 2012. After 1 month the back tyre went (Specialized 'armadillo' apparently), a month or so later the front was toast. I have had these brilliant gatorskins fitted since then. I personally found them easy to fit, I run 110psi and I am a big heavy guy (my bike is a 61cm frame). They have done well over 1000 miles in all weather (well mainly wet given the horrible year we have had) and have repelled some very nasty bits of flint without full penetration of the tyre. I bought a second set for when the first eventually die. Brilliant tyres, most durable I have ever used, wouldn't use anything else now.

Convinced these are indestructible. Had a few hairy rocks/pot holes whilst taking the bike over gravel amd they held up but after a 60kmh descent down Edgehill and going over a large pointy rock they simply send the rock flying and don't show a sign of damage. If you ride a mix of road and gravel or are just looking for puncture protection, these are your bag.

Had on for a while and have to say best tires had ever with no flats from brambles or glass while riding side of road (glass zone) good traction all around and seam to be fine in cold days for not hardening up too much...also, wearing well !
