Angelus Suede Dye Black

This is brilliant stuff. I had some navy sandals but wanted them to be black so brought this. I will say you need some time, patience a small make-up brush and some tape. I taped up my shoes-the wool dauber was too big for all the fiddly bits so grabbed a dense make-up brush. KEY POINTERS: A good brush to start with and lift the nap Taped up the shoes to make it easier for myself Saturated the dye throughout on first coat Brushed again when dry after first coat to prepare for second coat Second coat was a breeze! I finally sealed them with waterproofing spray ( so I don’t get black feet) The black colour is very intense which is great, thankfully I didn’t end up with too much dye on my hands but washed off easily. Very good value for money and a lovely little craft, plus I now have super shoes to wear! Would highly recommend - trust the process and take your time in the prep part.

True colour. Fast running, so get your workspace & ppe / gloves ready before starting. It'll drip & flick very easily. It did take me a couple of dabs into the bottle to suss out how best to use the accompanying sponge-on-a-stick. Had to apply two coats because of the shoe not because of the dye - this being exactly as I had hoped, very black (not that there is such a thing) and covers quickly and easily - thus cannot fault the quality. If the dye doesn't bleed when it rains then the product will have been well worth the investment. Total application time was no more than 2 minutes per shoe. Cleaning any spills is a bit of an issue. The dye does its job so well that standard household cleaning products including white spirit / turps won't remove it. Fortunately, for the odd rogue spot that managed to find itself onto neighbouring surfaces (always happens to me for some clumsy reason) I had isopropanol alcohol on the shelf which worked.

As described and a little goes a long way so the size is really good. I have only used this brand once before when I purchased their leather dye and that was really good as well. I really liked the dauber applicator (wipe excess off too avoid waste and leaking on footwear) as it made dyeing my trainers super easy. Great dye, very good coverage compared to other brands and a very good quality.

Easy to use needed 1 bottle for a pair of ankle boots but dyed them chocolate brown not black (they were dark grey before) so would t recommend

I used this on my roller skates and everyone said it would just take two bottles...two bottles later my skates were more purple than black. I ended up going to my local Timpsons and getting another brand and voila, black skates. There is also a lot of transfer from this dye so be careful!

乾くと茶色っぽくなるという他の方のレビューを参考に、赤い靴をブラックではなくダークブラウンに染めることを目標にして使用しました。1度塗りでほぼ満足な色合いに染まりました。色むらはありますが、肉眼では目立ちません。細部を塗るのに絵筆を使いました。乾いた後も手に色移りしたので、防水スプレーで定着させました。
