Expensive but you get what you pay for, in this case top quality. Got these to cut bike cables and housings. It goes though them like butter and no doubt it'll tackle harder jobs just as easily

Good tool

I like these mini bolt croppers, lots. They are truly pocket sized, they are comfortable in the hand and boy, do they pack a punch. I haven't tried cutting a 12.9 M6 bolt yet, but they are just fine cutting wire, cable and a piece of 15mmx3mm copper strip. High tensile fence wire is no problem. I wouldn't complain if they opened a little wider, but they wouldn't be a one handed operation then. They are fine how they are. Thank you Knipex.

As always a great quality and solid product from KNIPEX and delivery was sent out very swiftly from the supplier. If I have one complaint and I’m being very critical is that the main jaw doesn’t open that wide however you have to remember it’s a compact bolt cutter.

I've been on the look-out for a good pair of cutters for some time and by chance was watching an Adam Savage video (MythBusters fame) and he mentioned that he had these and that they were the best hand sized cutters he had ever used. So, with that recommendation in mind I ordered a pair and I am glad I did. Amazing cutters (as other reviewers have stated) that will cut comfortably up to around a 5mm diameter and could be pushed further I suspect if needed. I am very happy with this purchase. Basically what I said in the headline. If you don't care about getting a tidy cut they can chew through most things eventually. Broke my hacksaw and needed to cut through some 5-core 16mm SWA and these did it. Life saver when I was 15 miles from the nearest HW store. Bit of an extreme example but these are just great to have on hand for any spark who wants to be able to chomp some inconvenient steel without ruining your good cutters.

Knipex make excellent tools , but yhey are a little bit pricey .

J'ai acheté cette pince pour couper du fil de fer, principalement, mais aussi quelques petits tuyaux hydrauliques. Fait parfaitement le job. Je l'ai trouvée un petit peu chère, mais c'est sûrement du fait de sa grande qualité, en espérant garder cet outil à vie (ce qui devrait être le cas avec la bonne réputation de Knipex).
