Best frying pan all round!
Brilliant frying pan with steep sides to it and natural non-stick capabilities. Not too heavy! Totally non-stick. Cooked a paneer curry in it and then cooked 24 small 6 inch across home made flatbreads in it. It didn’t stick at all and is easy to wash. I just wipe over a bit of oil and hang it on my ceiling airer and al it takes is a quick wipe with a cloth and then it is ready to go again. Oil not even needed for my flatbreads. Best frying pan I ever had! I was delighted! It comes with a spare wooden handle too! Awesome! Doesn’t scratch. Heats up pretty quickly and evenly. Well worth the money.

So far so good!
I seasoned the pan a few times before use. This was my first experience cooking with it and it did great! I've used it a few times since and it's perfect. Going to look after it well and hope it serves me for years to come 😄

Too thin!
Far too thin. Warped on arrival (spins round on a flat counter top) which got far worse once on the hob. Returned for full refund.

Not made in Japan.
Nice pan however it's of China origin masquerading as a Japanese pan so I feel deceived.

Disappointed – wok base became uneven
I bought a 30cm flat-bottom carbon steel wok. When I first received it, I noticed the bottom wasn’t completely flat, but it still worked fine. After some time, the base started to bulge outward from the bottom, and now it doesn’t sit flat on my induction hob. It heats unevenly and feels unsafe to use. Quite disappointed with the quality.

Brilliant
Very good pan. Took a few attempts to adjust my cooking but it was well worth it. Steaks are brilliant

Don't wash in detergents
The only frying pan you need. But you need to take care of it - no soap, just water and you'll be fine!

Good quality
All great, quality and everything as well. The only trick is themperature during frying should be higher than regular pan so some food types are a bit tricky to fry...

Great pan!
A great companion to the wok they offer. Cast iron is still my preference, but these pans are solid, heat evenly, and are easy to clean.

Bisogna averne cura come da istruzioni e secondo me è un'ottima padella destinata a durare una vita e più!

Carbon Steel Pan
I have had this for a while now and enjoy using it

Very nice pan. Need to unlock the trick for proper usage.
I'm sick of the scratches on non-sticky pans and have decided to shift to sth more natural. I have cast iron pans - but they are slower to heat up and heavy for everyday use. This 8" steel pan with thin side suits my need in every angle - natural, light, easy to clean up. After rounds of use, I have successfully trained it into a non-sticky steel iron pan. Tricks below - you are welcome! 1. Steel iron pan is much faster to heat up as well as to cool down than non-sticky pans. Adjust your timer and dimmer to make sure things are not over cooked. 2. Before use, I seasoned the pan twice. After every use, I only use warm water to clean it up. NO SOAP. Any remaining oil will over the time will form a layer of protection over the pan towards its non-sticky path. After cleaning, I would always use low heat to dry the pan thoroughly. 3. For the first couple of uses, put a bit more oil. You may down size the amount of oil after the pan becomes non-sticky. 4. Always warm up the pan first, and then warm up the oil, and put in the food at last after the entire pan is well heated. Otherwise, the food will quickly cool down the pan and makes everything sticky and messy. 5. After everything are heated in order, reduce the heat to maintain less smoke and a healthier cooking process. This pan is super for fry - the eggs are so amazing!!
