I wanted this to work, but unfortunately couldn’t get it set up properly. It may well have been user error so I don’t want to be overly harsh but some better instructions would have been welcome with the product. The item itself looked fine, but in practice I couldn’t actually make use of it. If you already know these types of adapters and software, you may have better luck than I did. For beginners, though, it may be more frustrating than expected.

Came with Linux firmware. Couldn't be reflashed as it's memory was protected.

Mine shorted the can circuit on my car so I sent it back. There was a fault with the gnd pin but that was fine on my version so I am unsure as to why is caused an issue when plugged into my car. Just avoid and spend the money on a proper can bus sniffer.

Ich nutze ihn zur BMS-Anbindung im EV-Bereich, und für diesen Zweck funktioniert er einwandfrei. Die Verarbeitung macht einen soliden Eindruck, und die Datenübertragung läuft stabil und zuverlässig. Bis jetzt keine Probleme, daher klare Empfehlung für alle, die einen zuverlässigen CAN-Bus-Adapter suchen.

Très bon adaptateur USB CAN. Je l’utilise pour le diagnostic automobile et l’analyse du bus CAN avec SavvyCAN et TSMaster. Fonctionne bien sous Windows et Linux. Je n’ai eu aucun problème de pilotes. La connexion reste stable même pendant de longues captures de trafic CAN. Je l’ai flashé sans difficulté avec le firmware slcan/CANable. Très pratique pour travailler avec Arduino, STM32 et différents calculateurs automobiles sur table. J’apprécie aussi la qualité de fabrication. Le boîtier est propre, le câble USB est correct et l’ensemble donne une bonne impression dès le déballage. Pour le prix, c’est vraiment un bon outil. Je préfère largement ce type d’adaptateur open source aux copies chinoises inconnues sans vrai support logiciel.
