Buy a LOT of wire, ok? You'll need it because this is a great little gadget. It can be tempting to wind up enough copper wire to make your own electric motor, if electric motors needed cool shapes. I bought it because I love a gadget, and these four mandrels are providing me with hours of fun and miles of wire now bent into very cool shapes. It's plastic, which makes it lightweight and easy to handle, but I'm not sure it will stand up to heavy use with wires that are 1mm or over but that's pretty heavyduty, so just take it easy when you're trying to do structural stuff and you'll be fine.

The price attracted me to this, and I must say.. wow.. This is brilliant.. can make jumprings, different links and creates all sorts of different effects for jewellery making.. have recommended to a few friends and they are enjoying this product also.... If you are a jewellery maker .. go for it... once you get the hang of it you will be addicted and keep trying different ideas and designs .. Highly recommend this product x

Good item, just don't think you'll be able to do thins straight away- takes some getting used to. A notch in the top and bottom would be good to keep the end of the wire stable while twisting the shape

The item arrived in good time. Well packaged. It is a very useful tool to have if you like jewellery making. Very reasonably priced with four different shapes, and various sizes. Wouldn't be without it now.

Definitely useful for beginners in wire wrapping to help with shaping and with example shapes

Not quite what I expected but adequate.

Very good selection of shaped and sizes. The plastic is a bit slippy on the smaller areas, but works with extra grip, I think a silicone coating would help. Overall easy tobuse and a good bargain buy for wirework.

This has been invaluable for making consistent shapes with jewellery wire, especially as it was our first attempt at this craft. It would have been a little easier to use had it had some sort of grippy or non- slip surface as we found the wire tended to slip around the mandrel rather than cling to it, but that would be a bonus for what is a really good tool to have.

What you see is what you get and it does a fine job. Easy to use with no fuss. A good variety of sizes with the most popular shapes. Handle fits all mandrels.

They are great use them often for jewellery making
