I recently purchased the RG353V Retro Handheld Game Console, and it has been an absolute hit, especially with my nephews—they absolutely loved it! I love this thing. You can flash custom firmware onto this to improve its compatibility, but you'll have a great time out of the box with the stock OS and games provided. Great for kids 10+, but probably not much younger incase they access the emulator settings and mess something up. I've yet to find a PS1 game it can't handle, and it even runs a fair amount of Dreamcast games (but performance may vary). Saturn performance improves with custom OS. Look into it - not super hard to do. This is the V model, which has both Linux and Android modes. If you're a basic user, you can probably get away with the cheaper VS model which only does Linux. Additionally, you can find THIS model for cheaper on the official website or a certain chinese import vendor but I'd ask you to consider; A. these are made-in-China Frankenstein machines made with repurposed parts. Good build quality but they don't always have the best quality control. Getting a wonky one is not an extremely rare occurrence. Having Amazon to facilitate an easy return is worth the premium IMO. B. You'll be paying approx. $20 shipping and waiting about 10 days for it to come from China with the other options. This listing came the next day for me, which tells me it's warehoused in the United States. So long story short - this listing charges a premium, but it's a safer purchase and you'll be getting it much faster.

The system is good but Missing a substantial amount of games. Advertised 4452 and only got 3,694. Some of which were the main reasons I got this.

I picked this up to keep with me when I travel, and found it very easy to set up and use, including with alternate OS images (ArkOS, Garlic, etc.). The one thing that I found misleading, was the description claims the device comes preloaded with 4,452 games. It does not. There is a 64GB card that it comes with, but it's a clean, unpartitioned, unused SD card that you have to format and copy game ROMs onto yourself. Finding games to play is a bit of an exercise in legalities and searching, depending on whether you want to stay on the side of the white or the black. 🏴‍☠️ There are some bugs here and there with the supported OS', so you'll have to get used to managing those, but the overall experience is quite good. I wouldn't rely on WiFi or Bluetooth being stable, I found them both to be very flaky under the stock OS as well as the alternate OS'. They would frequently mangle the SSIDs or the menu would show no networks or no Internet access when they were previously connected. It's a coin-toss. As long as you're only playing local games from the SD card(s), you'll be fine and it's a great little device! The seller should update the description though to correct that the games were included on the provided SD cards. They are not.

I was looking for a decent tablet for my kid this year but their all junk these days so I decided on something more unique. I was leaning towards a GCloud but didn't wanna spend that much on my child. This guy turned out to be a good purchase. I stored the sdcard away for the linux partition, i flashed the custom firmware that includes google services for the playstore functionality (do some google search research) , swapped the launcher app for Niagara Launcher and it's a nice little device. It doesn't have much memory so you need to clear your recent apps every so often. It could of benifited to a custom firmware designed for it but it looks like the owners focused more on hardware than the software. Looks like the os was compiled and thrown on and called it a day. With some tweaking from the mid range android user, it turns out to be a nice little toy. Now because the team behind this device didn't do to much calibration, their are some games that don't recognize the hardware but Roblox and Minecraft work just fine as well as many Emulators. If you arn't tech savvy and use the device as is, it may come to a surprise there's not a whole lot the device can do if you leave it alone. Without google services, your stuck with sideloading apps or using 3rd party app stores like the Amazon app store. Being mindful that apps that reguire a Google login won't work. So if your not tech savvy and into emulators, this will be just fine for your. If your a tech nerd like me, you'll find this thing to be a generic GCloud. The mini hdmi display port was a nice touch as well as the data port. All in all, my son loves this thing and that's all that matters.

This is a great game console and I played already hours on it. This one comes preloaded with over a hundred of games already on a exchangeable SD-card, but you can get bigger SD cards and just transfer the games over to a new card and add more from your own library on you PC or Mac. It also has dual operating system, with Linux or Android running in the background, depending which games you want to play. It fits great in my hand and so far the buttons have been very responsive and it is easy to play hours on end with this console. The battery also runs for several hours before you need to recharge, but it might take about 2-3 hours for a full recharge. The Linux system is installed on a second SD-Card and so you can even install you own version if you find a better on on the web. So far I had no trouble and left it as it is. Overall this is a solid build retro game console that is easily expandable and can provide hours, days and years of fun.

The item arrived in good condition, it included a 64GB micro sd with games pre-loaded. Of course you can add more if want to. Interface is pretty decent. It has 2 OS, Linux and android, touch screen only works when running android. Screen quality is decent. Battery life decent. Device is smaller that expected but it works awesome. I only notice some lagging on the N64 core, but Everything else works perfect.

Maybe my expectations are low - should a high-res, long lasting, dual-booting rockchip “game boy” be able to bring your Dreamcast games back to life? I don’t know, at ~$130, if it SHOULD,, but this thing definitely DOES. Built well (the worst of it I can say, is that the trigger positions are a little wonky), pre-configured and ready to go out of the box. Joysticks are the same used in Nintendo Switch joycons and are easily swapped out if you find then drifting (unlike the Win600 - avoid that and get a steam deck). Screen is bright, touch (only when booted into Android) is very snappy, and the battery life is longer than I have been able to use up in a day, which is at least 2 hours.. Don’t know what else is out there for ~$125, but the RG353V ticks all the boxes at a great price. That’s the problem, though. the tech in these things iterates so quickly, by the time this review is seen by anyone, there’s likely a new rev for around the same price that does more… but right now, you’re hard pressed to do much more for any less

Lo amo. Me encanta emula perfecto juegos de PSone, GameboyN64, etc etc trae muchísimos juegos, obvio no he probado todos pero si algunos exigentes y se comporta perfecto. Me encanta lo recomiendo mucho. La durabilidad de la batería es justa.

La calidad de la consola es premium, excelente calidad de los botones, pantalla, duración de la bateria; ademas se le pueden instalar mas juegos, la recomiendo al 💯!!!!

Material muy bien, funcionamiento super bien, los juegos creo que es medio impósible verlos todos, los que son verticales no es comodo jugarlos, pienso que es una muy buena compra como para perder el tiempo un rato en el aeropuerto o en lugares donde tienes que esperar y no hay mucho que hacer. Aun no pruebo instalar nuevos juegos pero pues hay muchos videos que dicen que si se puede y funcionan bien. Lo unico es que tardó casi un mes en llegar, pero pues solo fue paciencia...

Todos los roms de juegos están en chino. Que se supone que haga con eso?
