Supreme 2391 Radiator Brush Review: Excellent product - I'm ashamed to say I've lived in my flat for ten years and have never cleaned behind the radiators - partly because I didn't know how to get into the tiny spaces a radiator has to trap fluff and dust. Now I know! This arrived and I decided to try it straight away. It works a treat, getting into the smallest gaps and pushing out all the trapped dust, cobwebs and fluff. You definitely need to have a vacuum cleaner on the go so you don't up in a swirl of dust as it all comes out, but using that made it a surprisingly clean job. I saw that others have written about the plastic covering pinching you if you're not careful, but if you take care it's not a problem and the plastic is important as otherwise I can see you could chip off radiator paint or damage walls while using the brush. The handle is an excellent idea, and it's hanging up ready for the next clean. A surprisingly satisfying job to do after all those years! Review: Excellent item, does the job - This is a job I've wanted to do since moving house and can honestly say it is one of the most useful items I have ever bought for cleaning (though I'm not much of a cleaner)! Gets into the bits in between the radiator slats although if you have a grill on the top you would need to get that off first. The hair is like goat hair, so quite fine, but you still have the width of the shaft so it will only go into gaps wide enough for that, guessing about 8mm or so. Very bendy as well. Suggest also having the hoover running at the same time to catch some of the dust as the tool is very effective. Definitely worth the money.

Curiously Satisfying
Prior to buying this brush I've cleaned down the fins of a radiator exactly once in my lifetime. It involved using a bamboo garden cane and pushing a scrap of rag down the fins. I didn't enjoy the process and have stuck to merely dusting behind and hoovering the top of the grill. This winter though I thought my home was dustier than normal and resolved to do something about the "dust circulating apparatae." It's goat hair, so it will shed, but not alarmingly so. I like the plastic coating on the metal wiring as I'm sure it prevents marks. The handle has a thong for hanging it up neatly when in storage. The only bad thing is that the wire really could do with being stiffer as many reviewers have already commented on. It's annoying enough to knock a whole star off. You'll know why when you try it. Having said that, it does shift a lot of dust. You're best off dusting while the radiators are cool as the heat will only push the loosened dust around the room. Also, expect to need to dust and hoover the room about an hour after you've done the radiators as the dust settles. Was it worth the buy. Absolutely! The air feels much fresher after I did all the radiators and I'm no slouch when it comes to general cleaning, I do the baseboards once a week, for goodness sake. Even so I was a bit horrified at the dust worms that came out the bottom of the radiators. Pro tip: don't forget to run the duster horizontally along the lower "lip" behind the radiator just below where the fins end as some of the dust will catch there. I'd still replace this brush in a heartbeat though it they made one with a stiffer wire.

Really worth buying - Over 10 years of accumulated dust now in the vacuum !
Its a bit sad to be writing enthusiastically about a dusting brush !... but this is so much better than I expected. It has enough reach to get right down the back of my radiators and push the dust out below. I had a vacuum (pointy-adaptor) underneath to collect the dust as it went down, and I held it at the top as I drew the brush back out. Very little broadcast-dust, and the brush vacuumed easily. Almost all in one pass because the "bristles" are really soft and bendy and allow the vacuum to take debris from all around its circumference from one side. Also I haven't noticed the "bristles" being damaged by use or vacuuming yet, so appear to be well-mounted and retained as well as gentle. have managed to get inside the fins as well as down the gap between sides of the radiator and between the radiator and the wall. The most difficult part of using this for me wasn't the brush - it was getting the side-closures and top-grill off the radiator. For mine (Stelrad brand) I got some gardening gloves, pulled the bottom of each side away from the radiator (had to fiddle to get the plastic inserts aligned so the gap they have allows the side panels to be lifted up. Needed to loosen both sides like that before lifting one side vertically (grill lifts one side first, and its fiddly to get it to go over the metal protrusions - some small bending needed - used the gloves here too). Then the side that was lifted rotates away from the radiator to disengage from the grill. Straightforward from then, but had to remember what the reverse procedure was. End result - very worthwhile, and had the chance to wipe down the surfaces right to the edges too. Several other rads to do now. They take about 30 minutes each and once cleaned I'm sure they will be faster in heating the room, and the air is going to be circulating less dust.

Picture misleading!
I assumed by the picture that the brush was full radiator length but the plastic covered handle is very long and the brush short. Should have paid more attention, so check measurements and do not rely on picture. Works for enclosed radiator cavities but in open sections/spaces of the radiators the handle is too unwieldy and is ineffective. Goat hairs also fall to the floor. This is the same brush as one called 'Caraselle' radiator brush which is supplied by another and shows a full picture of the brush. As I thought they were two different length brushes I ordered a 'Supreme' radiator brush and a 'Caraselle' but when they arrived both products and packaging were identical stating "Neat Ideas".

Excellent, does what it says
I wish I had cone across this brush before, it is amazing! It arrived very quickly despite not being a Prime item and I used it immediately. The dust that I dislodged from my small bathroom radiator was shocking 😐. The brush is easy to clean and I certainly didn't notice any smell from it from either opening the packet or while using as I have read on other reviews. It is sturdy and works brilliantly... will be attacking the rest of my radiators tomorrow 😁😁

Decent brush
This is a good brush and reaches in-between and behind the radiators easily. Yes, the hairs/bristles come off pretty easily but there's loads on the head so I've got no worries that it will turn bald any time soon! It cleans well and collects and holds onto dust and fluff easily. The handle is made of wood and is sturdy and a nice grip in your hand. It has a flexible arm which appears to be marketed as a good point but it actually bends well too easily and makes it hard to keep the brush head straight (so looses one star). Other than that, worth getting.
