Compaq Laptop Battery
This battery was a perfect fit, and made an older laptop usable again. The price was reasonable, and a whole lot cheaper than buying a new laptop!

I used this battery for about three months and it started to quickly lose its capacity to charge to full after awhile.

This battery is doing the job. The battery life is to be seen.but for now I do not need to let the laptop on the DC nonstop.

I would have been reluctantly fine with that given the price point
Based on power on time, actual mAh rating is far less than the 5200 claimed: that should be expected of all 5200mah batteries at this price point. Unfortunately my battery also ceased working after 4 weeks and approximately as many charge cycles, thus the rating. The vendor (gomarty) was quick with a refund, so no complaints there.

It fit perfect, but the new battery has almost the same ...
Ordered as a replacement for my older laptop that had developed a very short battery life. It fit perfect, but the new battery has almost the same life as the one it replaced, but don't know if it is the battery or something in the laptop is draining the batteries.
