Coleman Event Shelter Peformance M Bundle

Be aware the Coleman event shelter comes in 3 versions. ( coleman basic, Coleman pro and Coleman performance shelters )Fair play to amazon. We ordered the basic medium event shelter. Unpacked it and realised this wasn’t the same as the ones we’d seen on camping sites.That got returned and we wanted the pro version. But then came across this performance shelter for the same price. As the pro. Which included sides. And a quick google search said this was the better version. Of the 3 available.We weren't disappointed. With this performance shelter.Although twice the price of the basic version this came with 4 sides which more than covered the extra cost compared to buying sides afterwards on the basic. Version. So is a better buy for yours money. and the canopy is at least 3 times more waterproof and is way stronger and has a silver lining to repel strong sunlight. than the basic version.It also has storm straps for severe weather (Which the basic version doesn’t have. ) ensuring excellent stability.Only snag it doesn’t come with pegs. So we need to buy pegs.Very pleased with this shelter.

Another 5 star quality item from this well known brand. Takes a few minutes to erect but the process is pretty straightforward and once erected it is very steady and offer a a fantastic space for camping, family gatherings etc. The bundle package includes all 4 side panels, one of which serves as a door and comes with clear window panels. The whole thing is packed in a sturdy carry bag that is equipped with wheels so that you can pull it, rather than carrying.

Good once you get used to putting it up, but the poor quality picture only instuctions to put it up are very far from clear. Step by step instructions would be much better. I would advise putting it up at home before you take it to a windy campsite after a journey and try to follow the very brief picture only instuctions.

Love this shelter, it offers the extra camping space that you need to cook and eat in without being inside the tent. Great size and easy to assemble.It withstood a storm and stayed waterproof.It did have a issue with the top canopy but the communication and support to resolve from the sellers was fantastic. Totally recommend. Great value. Quite heavy to lift and pack for camping but comes with little wheels on the storage bag.

The shelter itself is fine. Although if the outer shell isn’t treated delicately, it does split far too easily. However the big problem is the guy ropes. After four month’s continuous use, the outer hi-vis wrapping faded and disintegrated. Turned to dust. Meaning they can no longer be tensioned. Had to replace the lot.

Product is excellent - this is my second of these albeit a bigger (4m) model many years ago. The main reason for my review is to praise the excellent customer service I received from the seller - Ocean Trail Ltd. The storage bag was damaged and they replaced it promptly and without quibble. Thank you. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to buy from this seller again.

Love Coleman stuff. Always have. The simplicity of the design and (if you put in all the guy ropes) you are pretty much guaranteed to be able to watch everyone else's tents lift off in strong winds into the next county from the comfort of your Coleman shelter. Not really lightweight enough to lump around on a hike, but well worth taking to a camp as a dining shelter or a storage "hall" for the rest of the kit. Top stuff.
