Amazing ingredients butโฆ
As you can see the ingredients are fantastic and in regards to other reviews, the smell is not as strong to me. It smells like as you expect kibble to smell like. My senior dog absolutely loved this food and transitioned from a different kibble to this one in just a day. My only complaint is the bag can be deceiving because the kibble is filled about 3/4 of the bag but I understand that the amount is listed (4lbs). But this is one of the best kibbles you can get for your dog for a more affordable price!

Very good on his stomach, wastes ๐ฉ comes out good. Baby ๐ does NOT have a sensitive stomach. He enjoys the food. On his 2nd bag- smallest bag. Food smells fresh. Good size kibble for small breeds. APPROVED by my baby Pomeranian Male ๐.

Stuvite crystal mineral content too high
Stuvite crystals!! Beware- after transitioning to this food, my dog got her first stuvite crystals and UTI. If you research, you will find this is too common of an experience. Even AI says it has ingredients that โ Open Farm's standard dietsโฆare generally too high in the minerals and proteins that can contribute to struvite crystals.โ Wish I had done more research.

You cannot return even if it is an unopened bag! Update: Open Farm has kindly refunded me.
I tried another flavour of Open Farm and my dog rejected it, so I was hoping to return the unopened bag, however it is not returnable. Open Farm contacted me after I had posted my review and has refunded me. They did not ask for the food to be returned but suggested donating it to a rescue or a shelter. Which is a great idea.
