This is a simple device that works as it should. Part arrived quickly. Seems to be off good quality. We used it last year for canning fruits and vegetables. No complaints.

Adjustments for presto
This is a great attachment to my presto 23qt pressure canner. This attachments make it to where I am able to hold 11lbs of pressure for most of my meat canning. It is extremely easy to use holds perfect pressure!

not all that well made
the ring on the bottom won't stay on. I decider to test the weight to see how it registered with my pressure gauge and found that the values were reasonable. this summer I wish to can vegetables at a lower pressure. when I removed the weight the balance lock(?) came off. I did put it back on & tested the other weights but each time I removed the weight the lock stayed on my cooker. will send feedback & request a replacement from Amazon. replacement arrived and tested. this one works fine. upgraded to 4 stars as I did have a problem.

IF you have a presto and can, you NEED this weighted gauge.
This ALWAYS works better than having to watch a dial gauge. weighted regulators like this are ALWAYS accurate, unlike the dial gauges you have to have checked yearly for accuracy at your state extension offices. Just ignore the dial and use this.

Split ring
It was VERY difficult to get the split ring off, could not see where the ring was split and it took two of us to lift ring up a bit to put another screwdriver under it to pry it up to get up and off. Having done that, the 3 weighted rings where easy to put off and on to choose what weight you wanted to use

Did not fit my canner which is an unbranded one but looks like a great weight and easy to use
I ordered this for my pressure gauge canner , which is brilliant but I wanted to use a weighted one too just to be safe . However it did not fit into my steam spout . I think this maybe just for the branded canner like presto as mine was just an unbranded one I bought from eBay , It is a real shame as I was looking forward to using it
