Truly blacker than any other fabric
For flocking a telescope or internal camera components, nothing I have found is blacker than this. It is far, far more light absorbing than the adhesive-backed flocking papers I have purchased from several telescope vendors. This stays black even when viewed at various angles, though if you are dumping an insane amount of direct light onto it and viewing it at an angle of around 45 degrees, you will get some shine - but I know of NO product on the market that would not do the same thing yet be worse. For any reviewers claiming it isn't that black, or that a blacker product exists, I would love to see proof with a link to another product that they feel is more light absorbent than this.

Very Black
It's hard to imagine a fabric being much more black. Pretty expensive but was great for my photography application.

Shipped with Zero Protection = Damaged
I don't understand these companies that ship delicate, fragile items with zero protection. This item was a letter size piece of fabric—thin, like heavy paper—shipped in a flexible soft bubble envelope completely alone. Of course, under normal shipping, it is likely to be damaged. Seems like a cool product, but we didn't even get to test out ours for use as a photography backdrop because ours had folded in half plus was indented with impressions. A thin protective piece of cardboard inside would have saved all of us this frustrating waste of time.

Fantastic
I didn't have high hopes for this product, but it's just fantastic. It's expensive for its size, so I recommend it only if it's affordable for you. Be careful with the dust in the room and don't use it outdoors, because the surface is like velvet and any speck of dust can easily stay on it and it's annoying to remove it later. I leave this reference image, There is a light shining directly into my hand, my keyboard is the same black as the fabric, exactly the same black color, however you can see the difference between a plastic material that reflects the light and the fabric that doesn't reflect the light at all, it's like pure black. If you make a photography set with this black fabric, and add a polarizing light filter, you can have the perfect combo. I was surprised. 100% recommended.

Honestly not very black/dark at all.
The product was far from matte and is fairly reflective for something that is supposed to be black. I also have other fabrics for photography and general use that appear much darker from various angles. This fabric only appears very black/dark under very specific situations. Keeping this stuff clean is a nightmare as well, every spec of dust shows like crazy. The best use case for this is in a studio setting with it completely flat on the ground or table when photographing objects on it. Overall not the most useful for the price and claims. However, when set up just right this fabric will appear far more black than any else you own.

Fascinating novelty item
I've long wanted some vantablack but never found anything I could buy. This is the closest thing I've found. Looking at it next to a "black" object is eye opening. I plan to hang it on my wall, framed in matte black for comparison. Photos don't do it justice! Watch a youtube video like "I Painted My Entire Room With Musou Black" to get a sense of just how dark this is.

Very deep black
Incredibly black! Exactly what I was looking for. I'm using it as a luma key background for a dice box, so I can capture my dice and key-out the bg. Is working very well for that, altho since I'm throwing dice in it it may not last super long.

Absorbe muy bien la luz
Llego en perfectas condiciones y absorbe muy bien la luz. Lo he estado usando para tomar fotos de unas minis y ayuda bastante a que la mini salga sin tantos reflejos ni luz compitiendo por la atencion

Great product! But arrived damaged 😣
Had dust and fluff on it, and a few cm of damaged material in the middle of the rectangle I used some tape to gently clean it, and it was fantasticly black. Quite amazing. Great for photography… My impression is that it’s delicate and when it’s shipped it gets crushed, stepped on, bent, mashed … etc. Amazon’s delivery often involves great violence (I’ve seen delivery guys throwing packages) and isn’t well suited for delicate items
