Is the "jail" space large enough for a d20 to move inside? Could you shake the whole thing and read what you "rolled" while it was inside?

Only if the D20 is a smaller sized one, normal D20 would just basically be stuck inside. I got a small set of dice from chessex and the D20 freely rolls around inside. Also the jail doesn’t have a bottom so the ooze basically just covers the die
