Bought for off-label use!
DISCLAIMER!!! I bought this as a string damper for my acoustic guitar. It does work but had to make a few tiny mods.

Awesome Dampener
This is the best dampener I’ve ever used. All vibration and ping are completely removed. It feels amazing. Those reviews indicating that it can break are accurate. I have broken one when I hit the ball off the dampener. So it’s possible. However, for me, its performance far outweighs the risk of breakage and it is worth the money. If you are frugal when it comes to tennis equipment, I’m not sure if you’d want this one. Perhaps try the Tourna Vibrex Scorpion.

Great job at absorbing vibration, but don't streach it, or it will soon break at one of the plastic ends
They do a great job of absorbing vibration, and thus making your racket sound like a pro racket, instead of making a "boing" sound like a skillet being hit. However, the plastic part at the two ends seems somewhat weak. One has broken one already (using 3 of them). When you install it, I would advise that you not stretch it, as that strains this weak part.

Great Stylish Shock Absorber
Happy to find this shock absorber. It is similar to the one I used years ago. Love the "worm" type that weaves in and out across the base of the racket versus the singular piece.

Plastic clip on ends broke during play
Don't waste your money. This product may not ready for primetime. I normally use the Gamma Red Eye but I decided to give this a try after losing my last one during play. I purchased 3 (one for each of my two rackets and a spare). I installed each in a fashion that was not too tight to change the racket feel and not too lose to come off during play. Well, within the first day of usage, one of the plastic clips on the end broke off after hitting the ball. It thought it was just bad luck or a defective one. The next time, I played with the other racket and I made sure the dampener was way at the bottom of the racket to prevent it from getting hit by the ball. Well, that really didn't matter. It also broke during play. I use Babolat RPM Blast 16 strung at 52 lbs on a Fischer racket. So maybe that combination of string and tension is too much for this thing. I went back to the red eye since my only problem with them is losing them occasionally during play.

Work, but will break if ball hits ends.
I liked the better feel with these. I've used both the single strand (many years) and now the double strand (for over a year). They do seem to me to help the feel of the raquet and quiet some of the vibration. The issue for me is that the hooks seem exceptionally brittle when are hit by a ball. If you are very good and NEVER mishit, this would not be an issue for you.

Absorbs shock
Easy to install and works like a charm. Great if your dampener keeps flying off your strings. This stays in place and dampens vibration as marketed.

Used this twice. Tennis ball hit the plastic clip and it immediately broke. Expensive waste of money.
