My house only has this type of ceiling bulbs and they fail quite regularly. These are the least cost I can find but they are still expensive.

This is a good bulb, as long as it works. While there is no complaints about this seller, the previous one did not even last for about 1000 hours, whereas it is advertised, as though it will last for 10,000 hours. For such an expensive bulb, the life is poor. IMO, even an ordinary fluorescent bulb would last for longer than these. But with regards to the quality of light it gives, it is awesome and consumes much less power. It is so bright, that with 4 of them in our bathroom, it is on par with 'day light'. I couldn't give a 5 star only because the life of the bulb was much less.

Seems that it's new LED style consuming 7w not 11 so more efficient. Slightly different from original but they fit on our fixture. Hope they last longer than the old style. 450lm Cool White colour

These are rubbish. I have no choice but to use them as they are the only bulbs that fit my bathroom. I bought 5 when 1 bulb failed last December. I wanted to have spare so they could be easily replaced if any more went. 2 more have failed since then which is bad enough but 3 of the bulbs I bought don't work at all. Bought 1 more which is fine but now another one has gone which leaves me with one dead light spot, 3 non functioning bulbs and no way of getting more with any confidence they will work. It is of course too late to return the product as there is only a months return policy. It seems I'm supposed to buy them individually each time I need one in the hope that they may work so that I have time to return or buy in bulk, try each one out in turn as soon as they arrive and still have the inconvinience of having to return them when some inevitably don't. So basically they are way overpriced, you only have a 50/50 chance they'll work and if they do they won't last for long. Does anyone know of any other manufacturers?

I seem to be replacing these bulbs more often that I hoped for. I have 6 spotlights in my bathroom and 6 in my kitchen all of which require these specific bulbs, I've yet to find an alternative cheaper bulb to use. These spotlights were already fitted when we moved into our new build property 4 years ago. The bulbs do work and look great however I'm convinced they only last between 1000 - 5000 hours , the quality deteriorates pretty quick :(. The bulbs do take a little time to warm up which can be annoying. I've just changed 4 bulbs, cost me a fortune!!! Lighting hasn't been great in my bathroom and kitchen so I'm glad they are all on and working fine at the moment.

Prompt refund no quibble

I need to find an alternative as these bulbs are so expensive and don’t last long but at the moment they are the only product of this size and width that are available. If anyone knows any different let me know. £75 plus for 5 bulbs is astronomical.
