Rotary Knob LED Dimmer

Efficient. Excellent dimmer, no flickering and easy to connect wires.

I bought this to replace an old Armacost LED dimming knob that had served us well, with heavy daily use for 5 years, but that had stopped turning off completely (even after the click off, the connected LED lights remained on). This replacement has worked perfectly, and was a breeze to install as a replacement. (It has a detachable wire terminal that plugs into the side of the switch, the same as our prior one. I was able to just unplug the previously wired LED tape from the old one and plug it into this replacement without needing to fiddle with the wire connections.)

I have installed this dimmer multiple times on undercabinet lighting projects. Works great. Tip: use DC Armacost lighting for the best dimming results.

These may be ok for battery powered RV lights, but don't use them for your 12VAC landscape system. It's listed pretty clearly that these dimmers won't work for that. I tried it anyway...didn't work :-). Neutral review because I didn't use these switches in the correct capacity...that's my fault. But for the price, was worth the experiement.

Have used these many times now with great success. Usually try and hide the dimmer on top of the cabinet with the power supply. Like that it has a plug that pops onto it allowing your to run your wires then plug in the module.

Armacost makes the best led lighting for kitchen under cabinets. I have bought a few more dimmers and power supplies just so we can add more lights everywhere.

This dimmers price is justified based on the fit and finish of the switch. Fits in standard or retro fit light switch box. If I remember correctly the positive/negative terminals may be incorrectly labeled but once you get the connections right you are good to go. Nice positive click when turning switch off.
