Really wonderful. My four year-old loved it. These are very durable and will take a real beating. That said, some caution is required. Even a relatively young child can hit someone pretty hard with these.

This is a great toy! It was lightweight and looks amazing! My son loved it.

From a distance from a direct angle and in poor lighting you might be able to be tricked into thinking this is a real axe, but with even modest scrutiny the illusion breaks. That's not all bad for a child's toy, the foam is light and unlikely to cause any damage. But the design is a bit of a let down if you were hoping for something a little more convincing. Beyond that, the other and main reason I'm dinging it a star, even as a child's toy, is that it's not very ergonomic. The square shape isn't super comfortable to hold and even though the "blade" doesn't come to a point, it does have two corners that may hurt more if used incorrectly than a single smooth edge. I wish they beveled or rounded the edges along the handle and at the end of the axe blade, it would have added to both the illusion and the comfort of the toy. Overall, I'd say this is best suited for a toddler viking costume where you want to sell the story more than the illusion.

I have other Liontouch toys that my young son loves to play with. My complaint with this toy is that the way it is weighted it gives a pretty hard whack despite being foam. I buy the foam weapons so my kid can battle with his friends- this thing could settle the fight a little too decisively! I only let him use it on me. Ouch. It looks great though.

My kid loves it for role play. It's foam, but it still hurts like hell to get hit with. It won't actually do any damage, but you'll still have to deal with the sissy kids whining lol. Tell them to toughen up and have fun.
