Pros:- Stand and construction feels sturdy, with earlier batches there were complaints about the hinge on the mic being loose, definitely not the case with my unit- Just works. Plug in via USB C and that's all you need. Can use third party cables as well.- Audio response is good by default.- RGB can be turned off (long hold the RGB button)- Low latency monitoring from the mic's 3.5mm jack- Works with both iPhone and Android- Looks goodCons:- Does not have software. I use Steelseries GG to eliminate minor amount of background noise like keyboard which is definitely picked up. Alternatively use Nvidia RTX Voice if you have an Nvidia card

I have used it for 10 days till now so here are the pros:1. Usb c to usb a cable, so it's a plug and play , very helpful if you're a beginner, no need to buy audio interface.2. Xlr output is available so you can upgrade in future , no need to buy a brand new microphone when upgrading.3. Live audio monitoring 3.5mm jack is provided, with zero latency4. RGB is there if you are a gamer and u can turn them off if you want.5. Cushiony foam filter6. Looks very good7. Great build Quality, body plastic , but stand and mic made of metal.8. Even if it's a 16bit device audio quality is great in usb mode.9. Noise cancelation: if Ur room is not sound treated no issue it cancels all the background noise and sounds greatCons:1: glitches, distortions, some times not recording while using in usb mode , after recording a hour video I observed that audio is missing at some points, glitches in audio even though mic was within 2-3inches from the mouth.2. Wiggles a lot , even tightening screws are provided on the sides they are of no use, it will slip down , I had to adjust the stand, wire to use itproperly .3. Looks bulky, I can see that the mic is looking bigger than my face in the recording and it's dominatingOverall it was a good mic for the price range, and I would recommend it if u are a beginner and don't have a sound treated room and it gives a great audio quality, no need to buy interface at the beginning itself. Great.If anyone from fifine is reading, I have 2 suggestions1. Please improve on the side screws to stop wiggling2. In usb mode sometimes the audio has glitches and sometimes doesn't get recorded. Please do a improvement on thatIf u improve these , it's a great microphone to start with, love it

Good quality

This mic is really good if you're looking for podcast or streaming mic. The biggest advantage with this mic is it uses USB C and XLR simultaneously if you have a two PC streaming setup and want to use only one mic for both of them. Great sound quality and amazing build. Highly recommend for the price.

Recording is not good in this mic...noise cancellation is not there in this mic... I just start using this smd now I want to return the product but return window is closed...so I am very disappointed

Works fine and the vocal clarity is nice, was able to plug and play just as it says. The only issue i had was with the scratch on the mic, no sure if its due to previous use(which shouldnt be the case) or due to a manufactoring/distributor issue. Nevertheless great mic.

This is a great microphone for gaming, streaming and just everyday use. It's a great upgrade compared to your built-in or headset microphones, giving much clearer and crispier sound quality. Having both the USB-C and XLR connectivity is a great feature to connect to a variety of things, and it worked right out of the box with zero drivers on USB. It also gives an easy upgrade path to an audio interface later on.It does a great job of cancelling background room noises like keyboard clicks and fans, but keeps your voice front and center. The tap-to-mute button on the back is also super convenient, and combined with the LED status light, makes it clear whether you are live or muted. In USB mode, the dedicated gain control and headphone monitoring jack make quick adjustments effortless, and the customizable base RGB lighting adds a nice touch to the desk setup. Overall, it sounds clear, warm, and professional.

This is the second time I have purchased this product - the first time for myself, and the second time as a gift. I've used the FIFINE AM8 for close to two years now and it's an amazing microphone. Let me break down everything you need to know.The mic voice quality is great. Can it be better? Yes for sure, but at a considerably higher price point. And that difference is not very big - but the price difference will be. The quality is great for voice calls in Discord and even good enough for streaming, recording and creating content. If you have a larger room, it could pick up some echo, but not enough for it to be a problem ever. And it won't be a problem if you keep the microphone close to you, which is the preferred way of using microphones like this. I use my AM8 on an underslung boom arm and it works great from me (also from FIFINE). Additionally, I use my AM8 with the FIFINE Ampligame SC3 because I wanted to use the XLR instead of USB. The pairing is amazing.Let's talk about the features. You get the option of XLR and USB. I've used both and even made a video comparing the two. Some people claim there is a difference with the XLR yielding better quality, but in my experience its minuscule. Having both options for XLR and USB is amazing. Something to note: you do not get the RGB light if you use XLR connection. Next, the RGB button is fine and so are the control knobs. I don't really use them ever since I have the Ampligame mixer, but they are there if you need them. There is a mute button but its a touch button instead of an actual press. If this is a deal breaker for you, don't get this microphone. The mute button only works with USB. I use a mixer which has a mute button on it - so to me this isn't a problem. The optional stand is fantastic - one of the best desk stands I've tried. I like that you have the option of either using the desk stand or mounting it to the boom arm. The RGB brightness is pretty weak. The build itself looks sleek, but its plastic. Great mic, I got it for doing a podcast for work and it is on a great stand and works well with Adobe suite. You do have to be fairly close to it but not overly. Good quality.
