brasso is gold standard for polishing brass, best metal polish on the market in my opinion, i buy and sell vintage items and im never without brasso in the workshop. very easy to use and perfect results, only addition required is personal elbow grease.

Exactly as it says on the tin. I used it on a few brass items so far and its made a massive difference. I've a took a picture of before and after of a brass cow. Also took a picture of a dolphin which was really dull before and has a sticker mark which had been there years, its made that disappear and is so shiny. Great value for money, good sized amount in the tin. Not sure how long it lasts yet but happy so far and would recommend to anyone that needs to give some metal a new lease of life! Very easy to use, only takes a few minutes.

🛒📦🛍💝👀🔍📸👍🏻🤔👌🏼📝⭐️ I do prefer the liquid. You do need a cloth (maybe a paper towel) to buff it up. Wish I'd worn gloves. The shine is great. Would buy again, the pieces shown are all needed to do both 👍🏻 so it does last well. I personally prefer to see photos from a customer's purchase before I make a purchase myself, so I include photographs with my reviews. This is partly because I have sent gifts in the past and been disappointed by poor quality or cheap looking packaging that wasn't obvious from the product photos. I tend to keep my reviews fairly simple beyond this unless there is something specific worth mentioning. Otherwise, I may briefly cover the basic points suggested by Amazon's review prompts that I think other shoppers would find useful. I only give 5 stars if an item is truly exceptional, whether that's due to outstanding quality, craftsmanship, presentation, or because it exceeds my expectations. In the past, I would give 5 stars whenever I was satisfied with a purchase, but I realised that wasn't always the most helpful way to review products. A 4 star rating from me is still a positive review and does not necessarily mean there is anything wrong with the item. It simply means that I was happy with my purchase, while reserving 5 stars for products that genuinely stand out. 👍🏻

Wadding comes in a funky metal tin and easy to use. I find this more convenient than the brasso liquid. It smells a bit and due to chemicals you should wash hands after use. But as a cleaner and polisher of metals like brass, copper, silver it works very well.

A nice option compared to the regular liquid version. The liquid version lasted for many years before running out but this option is ideal to have the wadding. This saves making a mess of cloths which cannot be cleaned after use. It is a lot less than the liquid version but the amount of wadding seems very generous. Brought up the letterbox a treat!

As shown in the pictures, Brasso has improved the condition of my old compass after just one application. The surface looks brighter and cleaner. However, it is more difficult to use on areas that are complicated to reach because the wadding breaks down quickly into small pieces and tends to get stuck. Even so, the compass already looks much better than before. I will certainly need to repeat the application, but I prefer to wait until the weather is warmer because using it indoors is problematic due to the fumes and when I polished the compass outside in the garden my fingers became stiff and I felt cold. Overall, Brasso is a good product, but there are some important points to keep in mind. It should not be used indoors because of the fumes. There is also an environmental factor since the wadding is soaked with chemicals and must be handled with care. Gloves are essential, ideally disposable ones. Finally, the wadding falls apart quickly and becomes less useful. For smooth surfaces it works well, but for my compass with all its small details it is more challenging.
